***Pregnancy in General***

I know this has 9/25/08 as the date... but this is back in the times of finding out we are pregnant, to about 16 weeks along :) ~

Noah and I are very excited for our baby to be here!!!! Everyday is a brand new feeling that is so awesome and feels so wonderful, you can't even put it into words! I felt a bit sick and nauseous the first part of my pregnancy when I was in my first trimester, but other then that, KNOCK ON WOOD, I feel great!!!! I am now in my 2nd trimester!! I get tired very easy, but... I have a child growing inside of me... what do you expect? :)

When we found out we were pregnant, I totally surprised Noah. I made my Dr appointment on a Friday, and didn't tell him I had one. He thought I was at work all day, but I was at the Dr instead :) It seemed like the longest day of my life too. She had me take a pregnancy test, which said negative. SOMETHING told me this was wrong though for sure. The Dr also had a feeling on this too, so sent me to Pekin Hospital to get blood tests done, since they are more acurate :) I went there, nervous as ever, and took the test. I went home, waiting to here back from the Dr that afternoon, to hear the news. It seemed like hours before she called, but she finally did! She told me, GOOD NEWS... your blood tests came back annnnd you are pregnant!!!! I was 5 weeks along is when we found out... so we weren't very far at all! It was an amazing feeling from that point on. It was the weekend of my sister graduating, and Noah's side of the family and us to all go to Chicago together, so the perfect time to surprise everyone :) I surprised Noah by writing him a letter and placing it in a small box, and wrapping the box. When he got home from work, I told him I had a surprise for him that I bought him. He opened the letter, which started... "Babe- I have a surprise... that will be here in 9 months!!!!" He read the letter with huge happy eyes, then shot up in the air, grabbed me and hugged me so tight!!!!! It was sooo great.... and that was the first time we found out a great part of our lives together once again, after our wedding and dating, all the great memeories with our family and friends, and everything...was on the way:)The family was also very surprised and very happy!!! No one knew we were trying to get pregnant... so it was such a happy and an amazing time :)

The first few visits to see Dr Dameron were very simple. She always checked the baby's heart beat, and just made sure everything was going great, and if we had any questions. The first time we heard the heart beat, it was absolutely wonderful! The baby's heart beat has always been average, but more on the high side between 150's and 160's. We heard from an ole wives tale that if the heart beat is high, it is a girl. No hopes up high though, because for one- who knows if those tales are all true, prolly not- and for two- Noah and I don't care either what what our baby is!! We will be just as excited either way, and just pray the baby is healthy!

That's basically my pregnant life in a nutshell for now! Things have been going great, while Noah and myself have learned new things as well so far. One is... I am very picky now... who would know? I never am that picky, but now I am. BUT when I am hungry for something specific... I must have it then hehe :) We have also learned great things about pregnancy in general, but definitely gooood things! I love being pregnant for sure... other then the icky sicky stuff before! Noah also wants me to take pics of my belly every 2 weeks... so you will see those on here too I am sure:) We can't wait to meet our precious baby for sure... and for January to definitely be here!!!

We have names picked out also... if it is a girl either- Katelyn Gail or Alisha Kathryn (and call her Ali). If it is a boy- Elijah Andrew (and call him Eli). :) I always told my sis I would name my first daughter after her, so of course that is where the Katelyn and Kathryn come in:) My middle name is Gail also, and then Noah's middle name is Andrew... as well as my Dad and Bro too :)

Keep coming back for more postings... there will definitely be more as this wonderful time goes on :) I also have a pic up of me at 14 weeks... the time I started to show for the time being :) ~
