***The Things We Learn*** :)

Things we have learned about Eli and absolutely love within the last 2 weeks of our lives : ) –

Looking up at us when we talk to him and feed him

His lil fingers wrapping around ours and the tight grip he has already

Lifting his head on his own while we burp him or when we lay his lil head on our shoulder

The strong strong forceful pushes he has when he is mad – we will change his diaper and he will push with his hands and kick soooo forceful with his feet – what a strong lil man he is becoming

The way he is learning to stretch out his feet instead of having to keep them all cramped up like he was inside of me

The funny lil faces he makes cracks us up – not to mention he does have my chin so he sticks it out like I apparently do at times hahaha

How he loves loves loves to be held by anyone – to the point when it is time to go sleepy at night he gets fussy at first because he just wants Mommy and Daddy to hold him <3 (this is getting better tho eeek!)

How he looks so peaceful and happy when he is fast asleep : )

Dozing off to sleep to wake up flipping out b/c he hasn’t been fussy in awhile—to look over at him to see he is faaaast asleep with a lil grin on his face

How he is already giving Mommy and Daddy smiles : )

How Mommy and Daddy know they still want to enjoy their time together no matter how much joy this lil man has brought to our lives : )

Grandparents, aunts, and uncles are amazing <3

Waking up to his lil cry but seeing how precious his lil face is and can’t wait to be up with him even though it may be 4am haha

How the lil man is eating more already and has quite the gas too – we say he gets both of those from Daddy hahaha

Trying to decide which diaper change it will be that he will decide to pee on us ha… he has peed on both Daddy and Mommy, the nurse at the hospital the day he was born, and a nurse at his 1 week check up ha--- not to mention also, he has peed on our wall that was behind him hahaha

How he looooves his swing and binkys (even if he does drop them out of his mouth every 3 minutes at night when we are all tryin to sleep haha)

Dressing him everyday is amazing <3

Kisses and hugs—from both Mommy and Daddy and also not forgetting Mommy and Daddy’s kisses and hugs to each other too

Seeing our families oooo and aaahhh over him and love him dearly : ) (while also fight over him at times ha)

Knowing we already want to have more kids in the future : )

The joys and great journey of becoming a new parent

How much love you find in a new edition to your family—it’s a feeling where you find so much love instantly that sticks with you and grows stronger and stronger soooo fast and continues to grow!!!<3

Wow I didn't realize this would be a novel-- buuut it is-- buuut also means so much to us and is so exciting one lil man brought this much joy to us and our friends and families <3 (funny thing also is the fact that Eli is sleeping riiiiiight this moment and instead of catching sleep when I should be-- I am addicted to blogs so much I am sitting on here typing this instead haha) : )
