It really melts my heart to see the new things that Eli learns everyday! He is soooo alert now, and definitely knows who his Mommy and Daddy is. He follows us as we walk near him, and come into the room, or even leave the room. Every morning when the lil man wakes up, I pick him up out of his pack n play, and he gives me the cutest smile ever- that definitely melts my heart and makes me want to hug and kiss him over and over again!
Eli is NOW sleeping ALL night and it is very nice! He was getting up once a night til about 11 weeks old- and for the last week or so- he is now sleeping allll night!!! The first couple nights I woke up in a panic- but he was definitely alright! I am just now getting used to sleeping all night without getting up once, and it feels nice- although, I never had a problem with getting up with him before, any chance to be with my baby boy at any time of the day is a great memory for me :]
Eli LOVES his rattles and has a great grip on some of his smaller toys! Rattles definitely catch his attention like no other haha, and he LOVES them! We also have a *Praise Baby* DVD that is a video that plays different worship songs, and he LOVES that too! We make him a lil blanket cot on the floor and lay him down on his back and he never takes his eyes off of the TV haha! It is soooo cute! He gets his arms and legs to flyin bc he is so excited… LOVE it! :] Eli also LOVES to stand up on the floor and on our legs while we hold on to him. He gets sooooo excited and he is getting a lot better with holding his head up too! He kinds of looks like a bobble head at times haha- but he is getting there!!!! My prediction is that he will be rolling over and crawling early- he is such an active lil guy!!! :]
I love the little laughs and smiles EVERYDAY and it is so neat to watch him react to everything! He LOVES to talk to Mommy and Daddy too by making the cute “coo” noises! (I had a video on that not too long ago haha)! Eli is still in size 2 diapers and has definitely grown out of 0-3 months clothes now. He is wearing 3 months OR 3 to 6 months clothes for the time being! He really hasn’t skipped a size at all and has been wearing a lot of his outfits he has! I am anxious to see how much he weighs when we go to the Dr for his 4 month check up! He is a lil bit of a chunky baby- but that’s ok- we love it and would rather see him healthy hehe! He is also getting sooooo long too!!!!! He looks soooo much smaller with all of his clothes off though haha! I just can’t get over how much he is growing! He is getting to the point where he doesn't want to be held all the time- which makes this Mommy sad. He loves to be held, but at times he just wants to be free and let his lil legs and arms fly around, so we lay him on a blanket cot on the floor and he goes to town haha. HE LOVES IT!!! :]
We are going through a process of teething right now- my poor baby :[ It crushes me to see how sad he gets when they are hurting him! We put baby orajel on his gums and he loves to suck on a frozen teething ring and it makes him feel so much better! He also likes to suck on Mommy's finger to calm him down too- but I don't like to do that always ha! I hope this process doesn't go too long for him because we just feel so bad for the lil man when he is in pain :[ Thank goodness for baby orajel, teething rings, and baby tylenol though!! :] I knew that since he turned into a drooling machine lately that it meant something- annnnd I was right!
My baby boy is the best gift ever. I thank my hubby everyday for being the person he is to me, for always being there for me, for being my best friend I could ever ask for, and for always loving me and letting me know he loves me. I thank him also, for Eli. I don’t know where I would be without that little boy! He means sooooo much to me! It is the best feeling in the world to be a Mommy- I love it with every single piece of me! I am so sad I am still working full time for the time being and can’t be home with Eli everyday :[ I PRAY SO MUCH that changes soon and I am able to find loving kids to babysit while I stay home with Eli. It kills me every single day to leave him… I am thankful for Weds off and the weekend also- but can’t stand to be away from him and feel like I am missing out on his lil life and I know it is meant for me to be a stay-at-home Mom! MOMMY AND DADDY LOOOOOVE THEIR BABY BOY, that's for sure!!!! Noah and I have had so much fun with him, and can’t wait for the many memories to keep on comin!!! :] HAPPY THREE MONTHS OLD BABY ELI!!!! <3
