Yaaay for good news is definitely right as well!!!! I found out at work this week that starting next week I have my regular Wednesdays off, and now I have Fridays off too up until Eli is 1 yr old. At that time, I will work on part-time if I am still working at the ole Farm, but we will cross that bridge once we get there :] BUT anyway- I am super PUMPED to get 2 days off in the week with my baby boy, and the weekend too eeek!!! :] I am using a Family Leave benefit that is offered for new Mommy's and we can use the benefit up until our child turns 1 yr... and I have enough days to take an extra day off every week til Eli is 1 yr! EEEK it excites me so much- I can't stand missing my baby so much all the time! This Mama is definitely excited and thinks once again that the best things come when you least expect it!!! <3
Annnnd yes- cereal time for my baby boy! We decided to try her out the other night to see how he likes it. I personally just don't think bottles satisfy Eli all the time now ha. He never cries about it, but I mean come on... liquid formula all the time? Sounds blah to me. So we decided to give Eli a good little treat :] We go to the Dr on May 19th anyway- and my guess is that the Dr tells us to give him cereal at night! He's at the age where he needs it- so we tried it out :] It was so funny... at first he didn't understand what was going on:

*Check out the face- "oooo a spooon, and it is now in my mouth!" Hahaha :] (FYI-I am not sure why this pic is sideways either! It won't let me make it up and down-sorry about that my peeps!)
Then he made a real funny "I don't like it" face, but realized then it wasn't his bottle formula- it is cereal!!!:

*He spit it out onto his chin hahaha! He just wasn't all that used to it at first*

*I like to be a messssssy baby!!!*

*Right when I was going to change him into his PJ's after he was all done he was all excited and happy!!!! (Notice the slobber mark on his shirt hahaha!) For the first time of eating cereal out of a bowl and it not being all runny and mixed with formula in his bottle- I must say he did a great job!!!! We gave him more last night and he liked it better- so he is getting the hang of it!!! Must have made the lil guy sleep better too because he fell asleep at 8:30pm last night and I had to wake him at 5:30am this morning!!! I know he is my baby- but I just have to say he is such a good boy!!!! I LOOOOVE being a Mommy so much... and watching Noah with Eli melts my heart every single day!!!! IT'S ALL JUST THE BEST FEELING EVER and I am so thankful for a great husband and sweet and healthy baby boy <3
