***Happy Mother's Day!!!***

I had a wonderful first Mother's day!!!! It feels so awesome to be a Mommy and have your first Mother's day- that is for sure! My day started off by getting up this morning and while I was blow drying my hair before we left for church, Noah was getting Eli dressed and ready to go to church also. All of a sudden, Noah and Eli came into the bathroom with a pink and orange striped bag that said "Mom" on it. Noah gave me 2 cards- one from him, and one from Eli. They were the most precious cards ever! It brought a tear to my eye! I then opened the gift and it was this plate that Noah went and made while he was off work back in the middle of APRIL!!! Haha! I was surprised he went and made my gift so early since any other time he goes the week or so before. I mean, oops, that is right- better cross that out. My hubby never ever means a thing if he waits til last minute to get a gift hehe! The plate had little tiny footprints all over the edge of the plate and then in the middle of the plate is Eli's footprints at exactly 3 months old with the words "1st Mother's Day" at the top and "Elijah" at the bottom! I was SO surprised and thought it was such a great idea!!!!! I keep thanking the hubby and Eli so much for the gift- it is a keepsake to me that will be with me fooooorever! Here is what the plate looks like-

The three of us also went and visited Grandma and Grandpa Zehr, as well as Grammy and Grandpa Peek! We got to see all the aunts and uncles too. It was so much fun and I had such a great 1st Mother's Day. Eli had a little teething attack earlier in the day which broke my heart in 100 pieces to see him so sad and miserable (especially since he is getting over his 1st cold right now too), but he was a trooper and tried the best he could to feel better and then he did and was allll smiles and squeals! I can't thank God enough for giving me such a great husband and little boy. I am truly blessed and would be nothing without the two of them!!! I don't know what Noah and I ever did with ourselves before Eli was here! My two boys absolutely mean the entire world to me.... I am soooo blessed I can't say it enough!!!

I also have a pic of Eli and I from today- but I left the ole camera at the in-laws. SO once I get my camera I will try and get the pic up asap! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL YOU SPECIAL MAMAS OUT THERE!!!!! I hope you all had a great SPLENDID day! <3
