Noah, Eli, and I left last Friday the 31st at about 11:30am to head for Rockford. We got there around 3:00pm because we got stuck in construction for almost an hour!!!! Not cool but we talked a lot so it went by fast haha! Eli slept a lot in the car and did a great job! For the rehearsal we just went to the park where they got married and then the dinner was at their house. I am not a bragger, but everyone kept sayin they thought Eli was such a good and happy baby! He did great and we were so so so proud of him! Andy and Melinda met up with us that night and we hung out with them at Joe's house! It was a great time hanging out with them too. Eli fell asleep around 9pm so he was asleep inside while we sat outside and hung out for a lil bit and then headed back to the hotel!
The wedding day was so pretty and the weather ended up pretty for them too! Eli slept through half the wedding but was a good sport throughout the whole weekend for sure! It got so chilly out too and he was still so wonderful! I ended up putting a sweatshirt and PJ pants on him- who would ever guess it was August? Of course we didn't want to keep Eli out too late as well so Melinda and I headed back around 9:30pm with Eli while the guys came back later! It was so much fun though- a very relaxing weekend too! Random people I didn't even know came up to me at the reception and told me Eli was a great baby and very happy! I was so proud of him- he was so good and no hassel at all! I am so thankful to have a great and healthy baby :]
Congrats to Mr and Mrs Joe Ricks!!! The wedding was very pretty as well as the reception too and the bride looked beautiful! We are very happy for them and wish them the best! The weekend was so nice to get away also- and so fun to hang out with Andy and Melinda too. Lots of great times! :] Here are some pics from our wonderful weekend! :]
