What are you up to at 9 months baby Eli?
You are wearing size 4 in regular diapers and overnight diapers. You are wearing size 9 months and 12 months in clothes! You can actually wear some 18 month shirts at times too- they are just a little long with a wee bit of space yet to go until they fit perfect!
You usually take 1-2 naps a day. You seem to fall asleep everyday around 10am and wake up between 11:30am and 12:00pm. You then take a small cat nap sometime in the late afternoon everyday as well, that lasts from 30 minutes to an hour. You are sleeping so wonderful- all through the night from about 9:30pm t 7:30am. :] Mommy n Daddy enjoy this so much thanks baby boy! :]
You now have 3 teeth and 1 more popping through on the top!
You are now eating table food, and baby fruit food. You love love love to eat and so far love every food we have given you. Your favorites are: mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, apple sauce, turkey lunch meat cut up, bananas, grapes, apples, and grilled cheese. Your favorite snacks are: puffs and yogurt melts. You eat any type of baby fruit food also. You are not a picky eater at all :]
You are now on 3 meals a day!!! You have your usual cereal in the morning, eat lunch around 11:30 and 12:30pm and then dinner around 5:00pm and 6:00pm. We have worked good on this the last few weeks and so far is has gone soooo good! You always eat lunch when Momma does, and you try to eat dinner around the time of Mommy n Daddy, but sometimes you get hungry earlier so we feed you then! You are also now only take 3 bottles of formula a day, soon will cut down to 2! Cutting down on the bottles is hard for me, because sometimes you want Momma or Dada to feed you and I love that so much, especially right before bed!
You are in to a lot, and even more now that you can CRAWL!!!!! You started crawling last Wednesday October 7 and before that you were so very very very close to crawling. You would get on all fours and rock back and forth but weren’t able to move yet and it made me feel oh so bad because you got frustrated when you wanted to get to Momma or Dada or anything and it broke my heart along with you baby! I screamed for joy and grabbed him once he crawled. Daddy was not home though when he did it :[ BUT he did see it for himself before I even got the chance to tell him when he got home!!!! Now we are on a total new level- watch out world here comes Eli :]
You are rolling around and moving around so much as well, and you like to get under the coffee table in the living room haha! You like to try and beat our entertainment center with the remote control, but this stops when Momma and Dada get ahold of the remote :] You have a high pitch scream you let out wherever you go at random times, and when we say “No No Eli” you look at us and no you shouldn’t scream so loud, but you smirk and do it again anyway! I laugh now, because honestly I find it funny you even know to scream a happy scream like that- but when you are older this prolly won’t be so funny :]
You love playing with your lil toys, watching TV especially your Praise Baby that I ordered more of for you! You also still love your jumperoo (one of the best toys we have bought for you for sure), and you love to play in your walker too. You love music and you rock back n forth to music too. You love smiling so much and laughing with Momma and Dada and it makes our days every single day! You love to be outside, and you are now just saying “ba-ba.” You used to say “ma-ma” which is now replaced with “ba-ba” but I know soooon you will be saying “da-da” and “ma-ma” again! You are great friends with Momma and Dada- you love to go places with us and are always so good we can take you anywhere! You also love playing with the kids I babysit and it makes this Momma so happy to see you interact with other kids already :]
We go to the Dr on October 20th for your 9 month appointment but have NO shots this time around woot woot makes me very happy and I am sure it makes you happy too!
You now repeat us… if we make a noise, you try and make the noise back to us. It’s so funny and cute! You have quite the funny lil personality we love so much. We have seen you be oh so loud like Daddy haha but you can also be bashful at times too like Momma :]
You are scared of a lot of things like Momma and also scared of the dark like Momma haha! You are such a lil joy we love oh so much and each and every day we love you even more!!! I will be posting 9 month stats as soon as I can as well :] You are such a good baby and we love you Eli!!!! Happy 9 months lil man :] 3 months to go and you are 1- how crazy!!!!!
*Mommy n Daddy bought me this car at a garage sale for $2!!!!! Don't you think I look more like a lil toddler now??? Mommy thinks I do and says it makes her a lil sad I a growing up so fast! Daddy has said before that it's time for me to have a brother or sister- but Mommy isn't ready for that quite yet!*
