As some of you may now, we went to Carbondale to visit my sister and her bf Michael over the weekend! We left Friday at 4:30pm, got there about 9:00pm and then stayed until late Sunday evening! It was a late night driving home, but we wanted to stay as long as we could, and plus we knew Eli would get to sleep on the way home since it was his bed time, and he did sleep the entire 4 hours home!
We had such a great time!!! I wish we were still there, I hate it that my sister is 4 hours away- it crushes me! On Friday we just stayed at her apartment and relaxed. Eli would not go to sleep because he knew he wasn't at home, and he didn't end up going to sleep until after midnight! I felt so bad for him... and then he woke up early Saturday morning and went most of the day with no nap. He was such a good sport though and a good boy- Noah and I were so proud of him!!! He definitely crashed Saturday night though at 9:00pm and slept the entire night until about 7:30am on Sunday!
We went to the mall, outside on a walk, to Michael's scrimmage game at SIU, went to see Michael's awesome apartment, went out for dinner to a yummy pizza place, and just did everything we could to soak up the time with Kt and Michael! The weather difference was soooo awesome compared to home too- it was 70' and sunny in Carbondale woot woot :] Too bad it still isn't that kinda weather here!
My parents came down on Saturday as well, so Mom, Kt, Eli, and I went to the mall for a little bit on Saturday afternoon. We went out to lunch and then shoppin :] Eli was suuuuch a good boy- no fussing ever! He did get into screaming happy screams in the restaurant though and I would say "Eli shhhh no no" and he would look at me, smirk, and scream again hahaha! I realllllly shouldn't laugh- and trust me, I hide my laughs from Eli :] I got a sweater from Old Navy, got Noah a sweater as well, and then Grammy bought Eli a winter coat that is so cute on him! She insisted on buying grrrr. SO I finally gave in and bought the cute hat that matches it that Noah just loooooves- haha he really doesn't at all but I told him Eli is still young enough to look cute all the time, he isn't at the "I wunna look cool" stage quite yet Daddy :]

Our weekend was so awesome! We took Eli's lil pack n play to sleep in and he did good once he got to sleep the poor baby. He loved seeing Aunt Kt and her dog Espy too! He has such a love for dogs- that is for sure! He also loved to see everyone else and also hang out with Momma and Daddy!!! :] It was a special and fun weekend that is for sure! We are definitely going to go back for other trips too- we just miss Kt and Michael so so much :/
I am so proud of my baby boy on how good he was!!!! He barely ever fussed and is getting quite the personality I may add :] A lady we saw at one time told us he was such a good baby and well mannered. Made me a darn proud Momma:] We were pretty positive he may start crawling there too- but he isn't yet but oh so close!!!!!!
