*This is what you are up to my lil man-
*You are 24 pounds according to our scales ha and a very good lil eater. There isn’t one thing you do not like so far that you have tried, besides cottage cheese! (which you spit out all over Grammy haha) :]
*You wear size 4 diapers and are still in 12 month clothes, moving forward to some 18 month clothes as well- biiiig boy!
*You are pulling yourself up onto everything and you love love love to stand up by the TV and hit it and watch BARNEY or any other TV show the kids have on!- however, we are trying to stop this because you are waaaay too close to the TV and that’s hard on your lil eyes buddy! You also love to pull yourself up to the couch and Mama and Daddy’s laps if we are sitting down or standing :]
*You are eating table food for lunch and dinner and you are doing so so good I am so proud of you baby boy! You really love- mac n cheese, bananas, french fries, cheerios (the reg kind annnd honey nut), PB&J, chicken nuggets, any type of puffs, yogurt bites, and yogurt nibbles too. You like a lot of fruits, veggies. And one of your all time faves that we have tried lately is pizza :]:] It makes me laugh too bc I loooved eating pizza when I was pregnant with you and this is one of your favorite foods :]
*You still want your baby cereal for breakfast and you are now down to 2 8oz bottles a day, one in the morning, and one before bed. You are doing so good with this- however, this Mama is havin a hard time giving up that afternoon bottle… but that is bc I want you to be my baby forever :]
*Um sippy cups? Not the best topic right now ha. You don’t like them unless they are the Nuk sippy cups that look like a bottle nipple at the top. You take those just fine, but any of the others ones you throw and don’t like ha- I guess you can get a temper like your Daddy sometimes ;] BUT other then the 2 bottles you have everyday, your Nuk sippy cups cover the rest of the day when you want apple juice or even milk sometimes, which you love!
*You still have those 8 lil teeth, but I believe you are teething more. You want your binky a lot lately and sometimes when you eat you make a loud funny noise and make your food fall out of your mouth as you grab at your gums :/ Poor lil baby! Teething rings and orajel are good inventions though :]
*You have been sleeping wonderful!!!! Daddy and I are so proud and love this for ourselves too :] You go to bed around 8:30pm every night and wake up around 7:30am every morning. Good job lil buddy!!
*You take one 2 hour nap everyday around 10:00am to about 12:00pm. You take your nap everyday at the same time, and some days you stay up til bed, while other days you may want to snooze for an hour in the late afternoon sometime!
*As of last weekend, you walked down part of the room and back on your Walker toy thing you hold on to in front of you and Mama stopped breathing I believe haha. I could not believe you did this and not to mention- you looked sooo cute! Daddy and Mama were both in the living room when it happened so that was soooo awesome! You then were standing up holding on to the love seat and I held my arms out and said some here buddy and you took 3 steps and walked to me on your own!!!!! You were so excited and smiling soooo big and laughed! This made your Mama cry and scream for joy and hug you so hard! I am trying to predict if you will be walking more by Christmas or by our birthday??? We will see what happens!!!! I am trying to prepare myself in the mean time :]
*Mama has all of your birthday planning just about done and honestly- bought too. I know that sounds crazy, buuut with all the holidays going on, I would never get it done after Christmas and New Years with his birthday being like 2-3 weeks away… so I got it alllll done and ordered and to be honest, I am excited and sad all in one for that special day!
*Your favorites are- eating, tractors, Praise Baby, Barney, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, playing with the kiddos I babysit, standing up on things and walking around the coffee table holding on, walking with anyone holding on to their hands, it seems you love just about any type of toy out there ha, you love music and to rock back and forth to it, throwing a ball, your binkys, cuddling when Mama feeds you your bottles and you love to cuddle before bed too (LOVE IT and hope this always happens for a long time ha), you love the Christmas tree and lights for sure (we got your Christmas shopping done too and soooo can’t wait), you love to go places with Mama and Daddy all the time and be such a good lil boy, being outside, looking out the windows outside, laughing, smiling, babbling/talking, seeing other babies, baths, and still the ole jumperoo too!
*You are now starting to talk more and more it seems. You now say- dog, star, chirp chirp (I taught him to say what a birdie says haha), ouuuuuuch, babababa, hot (I taught him to say this when he sees our fireplace and candles), ah-ah-ah, Hi, ow, uh-oh, and random times you will say Mama and we are working on saying Mama and Dada with you too :]
*Mama and Daddy CAN NOT WAIT until Christmas morning and to watch you open your gifts!!!! It is going to be so much fun eeek I think I am going to get up early hahaha!
*You loved the Festival of Lights in Peoria when we went last Friday! Mama Daddy and you went first together and you loved the lights! Your eyes were HUGE and you really loved the ducks haha! We went back again with Grammy and Papa and then we are going to go a third time sometime before Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Zehr! You and I are also going back this Friday with some friends and AuntKT- woot woot she is comin home for break!!! FUN :]
*You are a healthy baby and Daddy and Mama are very lucky for that and always so so so so blessed! You have had some small colds here and there and one ear infection, and other then that- you have been good to go. You are also getting so so so big and grown up looking, I think back to the times you were a lil lil thing and it makes me tear up how much you have grown. You are our pride and joy and such a wonderful lil person in our lives buddy. Mama and Daddy talk about how proud we are and how amazing you are every single day before we go to sleep. You are our perfect lil gift- that we love sooooo much!
*I truly am so thankful to be home with you every single day lil Eli! The memories everyday will make me smile forever!!! The older you get, the closer we are buddy- and then of course we look forward to seeing Daddy every single day and it is so cute how your face lights up! You are learning so much everyday it seems and you are our sweet lil boy we have forever, and we are so lucky to have you- words can’t explain the love we have for your baby… and how being parents is seriously one of the greatest feelings! We are so proud of you baby Eli!

*PS- can I also mention I am soooo ready to turn his car seat FORWARD?? I feel so bad for the lil guy- he does not like that carseat anymore… he is being a champ though and doing the best he can! One more month buddy and you will be able to face forward and feel a lot better and have a much better view too!!!
WE HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!! It is crazy next hursday is Christmas eeek :]
