***12 Month Stats/Shots***

Eli had his 1 year Dr appointment today with Dr Jani. He did a very good job with everything!!! He was getting so antsy though but I couldn't let him sit on the ground so kept his mind busy with a big light up ball he had in his diaper bag. He is cracking me up more and more these days!!! Lately he has been making this funny noise and then laughs and has the cheesiest smile on his face haha! I will try to get it on camera soon but here anymore he is getting impossible to take a picture of :]

He is also sharing his food with Mommy and Daddy too and he gets so dang tickled about it!!!! It's hilarious and so cute! He is soooo close to walking off on his own... it is just a matter of time. Sometimes when he is crawling I say "here I come" and start crawling towards him and he screams for joy and screetches and crawls as fast as he can hahaha! He gets to laughin and when he can't get away from me any farther he just rolls on his back hahahaha he is too funny!

But anyway- back to the Dr appointment. Dr Jani says he is looking very well and is a healthy healthy baby :] He now weighs 26 lbs 9 oz and is 32 inches long! He is getting to be such a big boy!!!! :]

One problem has actually come up for Eli and I feel so so bad for him. We have to go to a special Dr to get Eli examined in his belly because he has a terrible time going number 2. It is so sad and breaks my heart that he is havin such a hard time. He barely goes, I know TMI, but it's just really sad. When he does go it is like 2-3 times a week and it is rock solid and he barely gets any out. He screams and cries and pushes as hard as he can and tigtens his whole body up and is so so stiff. (It seriously reminds me of labor) I don't mean to go too far with this- just something that has actually been going on for a little bit of time. We went to the Dr once before and then in December (which was the 2nd time there for this) and it was a female then because Dr Jani was out of the office and she claimed he was too young to put him on medicine. She once again told us that prune and pear juice is about all that helps him go (which isn't much help but better then it usually is) and we have been laying off cheese and any other food that constipates and have been giving him more milk and juices and water and there is still no improvement. It gets annoying to hear the same stuff three different times and still see no improvement for a 12 month old. I wanted to say "COME TO MY HOUSE AND SEE THIS FOR YOURSELF." But I was nice and didn't. I want to ring the Dr's neck we talked to before because he my baby and needs to have this problem fixed for him asap and after today, Dr Jani told me they can get help. SO as soon as I hear from this special Dr, we will make an appointment for him to go get examined and see what we wil do from there. I pray he is going to be okay... it sounds like he will be- but I just pray so much and feel so so bad for him. I feel so good to be able to help him out by rubbing his tummy and lifting his legs up... he feels so much more relieved that I'm there to help. However, I'm glad we are finding further help this time around... it makes me feel so much better so I hope this is the final round of this problem! Sorry for the novel folks and the subject this is on- I just feel so bad for my baby and would do anything for him...

Eli is now off of formula for good and moving to 2% milk. He already is used to this and likes it, so that is a plus. He still will eat table food as well. The shots went absolutely terrible. My heart is still crushed. He had to get 4 shots and it felt like 10. He was digging his face into me and bawling the whole time and hated the nurse that gave them to him. He waned nothing to do with her- and I can't say I blame him! This was definitely the worst time around for shots and it was so so so sad. He was even babbling words to tell me all about the pain :/ One more set of shots in July for 18 months and then no more til Kindergarten- woot woot!!!
