Things are going pretty good at the new home while we are on the topic :] We are adjusting as good as we can- with some very emotional times missing our families and friends. We will get through this together though… no doubt about it. Lil man loves the new house too. He runs around clapping his hands and screams for joy and already knows where his new room is!!!! It is so cute and I promise you to have pictures up of our new home with our stuff in it as soon as I can! We are getting things done around the house one step at a time. I have managed to work in rooms when Eli is napping and when he goes to bed at night and so far it has worked out great. I refuse to work on a room when he is awake… just feel like a bad Mommy to do that and I always always enjoy my time with him!!!!
I will update more later on the new home in a different post and once I have pics too. NOW we are back to my post on sweet Eli turning 15 months and what he has been up to these days…
He is 26 lbs and has been that size since 12 months ha! He loves to run around and always walk around at all times too. He is 33 ¼ inches. We are currently in the process of finding a new Dr for him and for myself during this time too! He is getting soooo tall but oh so adorable if you ask me :] He is eating just the same as always, but is also going through a phase of pickiness. I asked the Dr about this, and he said it is very common in his age. I stressed at first, but not so much anymore. He lets us know at all times and I am constantly trying to feed him ha. He is doing better though and getting back into the groove of eating very good! Same ole favorite foods as always, and those yummy snacks too. He is really liking spaghetti o’s with meat balls and fruit snacks these days- my oh my hahaha!
He now lets us no when he does not like something he is eating by making this loud gagging noise (purposely haha) and spitting out his food. UH OH! We are working on him with this and trying to get him to understand it is a no no to spit out or throw food. He is getting better. He seems to listen to Daddy more then me… guess I’m just now loud enough with my tones… but I’m his Mommy hehe!
He is still sleeping all night (yaaaay for my sweet boy) and goes to bed around 9pm and gets up around 8am. He takes a 2 hour nap everyday and that is in the morning only between 10am and 12pm. In the afternoon- he’s all mine for the rest of the day and I absolutely love it :] He has 9 teeth in the front and alllll of his molars have popped through too! So all together he has 13 teeth!!! WOAH :]
He still loves the binkers- but we have broke it down to where he only has it at nap time and bed time. He loves the binky to the max and so we just want to make sure he doesn’t get too attached when he is older and realizes it more. I think we are on a good page right now with this though- and if he keeps having it at nap and bed only- that is fine with me for some time. Lately we have been giving it to him more often because of the move and busy stuff going on- got to let the lil guy catch a break! He has been oh so wonderful though with this whole move… sooooo good and so amazing! I am so so so proud of him for the drive down and everything else going on- he’s the best and I am so proud to be his Mommy! :]
The words lil man says are: Mama, Dada, dog, truck, star, Zach (for Uncle Zach), ball, baba (he still calls his sippy baba too haha), bubble, he tries to say balloon and Elmo, mmmm-ma (when he is hungry or food hits his mouth ha), annnd well the typical words ha. I know I am prolly missing some but this is the majority :]
One thing Eli also really loves is to be outside. It is so much fun watching him play outside and see the new things he learns to do everyday! He is becoming so much more social- I just love the age he is at. He will wave hello and bye to anyone (literally) and he now blows us kisses and makes a silly silly fish face too. He has been making this REALLY funny face that makes me about pee my pants when he does it. He sticks his lil chin in the air and makes his face and hands shake and it is soooo funny! I bust up everytime and have a picture of it below (the one with the frence fry popped out of his mouth ha). He randomly loves giving Noah and I hugs and it is the best thing in the world. He is a smart lil guy, and loves to look at listen to us read him books!!!! He loves watching Elmo, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Clifford, and Barney. Those are his top choices hahaha!
I love my lil man so so so much and I am so thankful for him every single day! He is the best lil guy ever and just brings so many smiles in my life, and Noah’s too!!! He is a good lil boy and I am so so proud of everything he does, even when he is Mr busy body and into everything hehe! He knows I have a baby in my belly and will look at my big ole belly when I ask him where the baby is. He is going to be so cute with the baby, he looooves his cousin Jasmine and is more and more close with her the older she gets! I can’t say thanks enough for the precious lil guy I was blessed with. His smiles, sweet noises, funny faces, sweet sweet hugs and kisses make me smile sooo much everyday. I LOVE YOU LIL ELI! I can’t believe you are 15 months already!!!! Less than 6 months til baby #2 is here- eeeek!!! We also find out what baby 2 is in 2-4 weeks eeeeek I am so excited and no worries- it will be posted on FB and this blog :]
Thank you for completing my life Mr Eli. I know I will say this to all of my kids- but I truly mean it. I don’t know what I ever did without you before. Your Daddy is perfect, and you are too! I’m such a lucky girl… and I am so so so thankful for everything!!!! You’re my pride and joy and I will forever love you so much my lil man!!!!!!
