Eli is still sleeping wonderful in his big boy bed. He loves it soooo much and loves to be in Mommy and Daddy’s bed too! He has always been a snuggler, but now is an even more snuggler since he has his own big boy bed! I absolutely love that too. He pretty much leads me around all day on what he wants to do if we are home a lot in the day and some days he literally takes my hand and wants to come up to our room and get in our bed and just cuddle and watch a movie :] He’s doing so wonderful in his bed for sure- we switched him over at thee perfect time! No more bangin his head on any bars and sleeping even better in a bed is a much better deal goin on for ya buddys :]
Eli is still talking up a storm as he was last month, and still loves to color, watch Elmo, Mickey, Barney, and now is in to Toy Story as well :] I bought both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 on ebay for $18!! WOOT sale price for me for sure and he just loves it! I debated to take him to see Toy Story 3 but decided to wait until it is out on movie just in case he gets a lil antsy to sit in the theatre that long :]
I am working on different objects with Eli as well as different colors and numbers. I am in no hurry to him getting this all down now- just something I thought would be good for him for sure! He is very good at saying please and thank you for sure! It’s so darn cute too! He knows what the color blue is too and says it, and he is starting to say 1… 2… 3! Haha it’s so cute!
We have some Seasme Street flash cards that have a different Seasme Street character on them with an object (such as the sun, or a baby, or a boat, umbrella, dog, cat, etc) and he says some of them outloud (such as airplane, dog, baby, cat, baseball, bat, etc) He is a pretty smart boy if I must say so myself (and I am totally noooot bragging- just very very very proud of him!!!!) Everytime he sees a baby in public or hears the word baby he rubs my belly- it’s so stinkin precious! You’re such a good lil boy Eli and I am so so proud to be your Mommy!!! You make me smile in the smallest ways and make my entire day everyday! I love how every single day we are always so excited for when it is time for Daddy to come home too. I love to see him every single day and we both greet him at the door with hugs and Eli saying “Dada Dada” it’s so precious! Some days we even hide in the bathroom and jump out at him and say BOO hahaha! We are quite the tricksters huh? :]
Eli still has 13 teeth and 4 more stinkin teeth still workin their way through at first. He has had quite a rough time with this too and it is so so so sad and breaks my heart. Not only does he have to shove his hand in his mouth from them hurting so bad, but on top of it he has a cold and had a fever over it! Goodness I am so sorry lil buddy… It broke my heart so much to see him so sick and not feeling good- but he is thankfully getting better!!!! I hope he doesn’t have to go through that anymore… I just was so sad for him :[ We definitely enjoyed cuddle time though- that made him feel better and the meds he is on now helped out a ton too!!
He is still in 2T shirts and 18 mo pants, and 7 or 8’s in shoes (big foot haha). Still in the ole size 4 diapers and we plan to start potty training beginning of December, right before he turns 2. OH gosh just typing out “right before he turns 2” is unbelievable!!!! Time goes toooooo fast!
He knows where his head, eyes, nose, chin, mouth, teeth, ears, cheeks, hands, feet, and toes all are and when you ask him where they all are- he will point to them and show you :] It’s so funny when he shows you his eyes because he closes his eye and gently touches his eye lid and when he shows you his nose, he sticks his finger up his nose ha!!! Silly boy :]
You keep Mommy and Daddy smiling so much, and we love you more than anything! You are our world and we will do anything for you buddys! We hope you will always know how much we love you and will be here for you lil man! We will seriously always always be here for you and support you our whole lives no matter what! We love your hugs and kisses- and just your lil smiles to us every single day. I am so thankful for such a good lil boy like you and so thankful you are a healthy lil man! It’s hard to believe that next month (20 months) you may have a brother here depending on what goes on in that boat! You show full attention in being a big brother soon and I have full confident in how well you will do and be such a great big helper and big brother :]
It’s so cute to watch you play with the other kids at playgroup, let alone your own lil brother :] You are becoming more independent, but at the same time, no matter when you are playing you will come to me and grab my hand to come with and at times when you play I will be right there and you just look up and say “Mama Mama” and wave. It’s so stinkin sweet- you are a precious and sweet lil man I will love love love love so much always!!!! You are my hero and I thank your Daddy every single day for the life you and him give me! I am sooooo darn blessed! Thank you so much Noah and lil man… this Mama loves you both tons! Happy 19 months lil man!!! <3
