What is Mr Eli up to these days!?
He is being a wonderful big brother for sure!! He kisses his brother, smiles at him, tries talking to him, and is even protective of him! The other day I had one of my friends over that I met down here and I just love her and her cute lil girls and anyway- she held Zacary and Eli got all upset and wanted her to give him back to me. He kept saying “Mama Mama” and the second she said “I won’t take your brother away from you and your Mommy” he was all fine and kept playing. So stinkin precious!!! He is gunna always look out for his big brother and they are already so cute together!!! I just love it so much! Anytime Zacary cries because he is hungry Eli says “Mama Mama- baba” how adorable. He knows I take care of Zacary just like I always take care of him! That is always a great Motherly instinct to have from your child for sure!!!! Just love it :] He also loves to be my lil helper and get me diapers or his blankets etc- it’s so cute!
Eli is learning more and more everyday! He knows what an owl is now, and a goat and is also getting better with his colors and numbers. Although he can only count to 3 for now- I think that’s pretty impressive and I am gunna continue to work with him on colors and numbers for sure. Potty training is coming very soon too- he has shown many signs he is ready for sure! The other day he said “Mama pee” and grabbed himself hahahaha! I couldn’t stop laughing and then he ran to the toilet. I tried putting him up there but he didn’t want up there- but he is learning more and more with that so how awesome lil man- I just love you :]
He is good with manners- he will say please and thank you and is so proud of himself when he says it haha! Its adorable if you ask me :] He loves watching Mickey Mouse, Barney, and Elmo still and we can’t wait for Toy Story 3 to come out too :] He is still in size 4 diapers, wears size 7 or 8 in shoes, and is in 2T shirts and 24 month pants! He still has the 17 teeth he had last month too haha and we are gunna start going to the dentist once he turns 2! Until then we do brush the teeth every single morning for sure and he just loves it and thinks it is fun to play with his toothbrush afterwards too haha! Makes me smile! He naps every day for 2 hours from 1:00pm ish to 3:00pm ish. If he does not have his nap he is verrrrry tired by the end of the day and has very sad meltdowns that break my heart. Of course I get him calmed down and everything but it’s so sad when he cries and just is so sad bc he is so tired. He loves his sleep very much for sure- never ever fights to go to sleep at bed time. He does at times to take naps- but once he gets in his bed he knows he wants to lay down and he is all better! He definitely loves his sleep time for sure!
Eli is very excited to go trick or treating but is not a fan of the scary witches, ghosts, etc that we see in stores. He always starts to cry and puts his arms out to me. I tell him I will always keep him safe. I feel bad for him that he is scared of the creatures ha but deep down giggle at the same time bc he is so much like me with bein scared- and I am a huge chicken haha- makes me feel good lil man followed in my footsteps so we can always go through the scared stage together :] He is going to be Woody for Halloween and Zacary is gunna be Elmo! :]
Eli is talking more and more- and I love it so much. He always says “Mama” or “Dada” to get our attention before he wants to tell either one of us what he wants to say! Just so darn sweet for sure :] I just love hearing my name! And the other day I said “Eli can you say I love you” and he went “mwwwwwuah” and blew a huge kiss! So sweet!!!! Come to think of it- that’s what Noah and I say to him before we put him in bed so he prolly thinks saying “mwwwwuah” and blowing a kiss is what I love you means- awww!!!! <3
Eli looooves baseball and football!!! It was meant to be for us to decorate his room in sports bc he absolutely loves them! He loves to wear a baseball hat and hit the ball in his room and also loves to watch football and play catch with a football. He yells out “h-h-h-HIKE” as you throw the ball and then will yell “touchdown” too- it’s absolutely adorable! I love how he just loves the snot out of sports- and even though I sucked at sports growing up I still love to play them with him!
Eli is also picking up very well too when we are done playing with any toys in the living room and his room. I will say "it's clean up time" and sing the song of "clean up clean up" off Barney and we both clean up and he is sooooo good about putting his toys away and being so helpful- what a sweet and good lil boy for sure :]
Eli is all around a very great boy and I am so very proud of him. Like every kid- we have our moments of doing “no no’s” ha but he is a very sweet boy and always makes up for it when it even happens! His smile means the world to me, and every lil sweet thing he does just melts my heart. He is a very loving and smart boy and I am so proud to be his Mommy for sure! I will forever do everything I can for him and that will never ever change! I love him dearly and each and every single second of my life. I love getting him up every single morning and spending the whole day together. Life is so sweet and so great- I couldn’t ask for anything better then what I am blessed with for sure. Mommy will always love you so much my lil man! Never ever forget it for one minute. I pray so much our relationship is as strong as it is now forever!!!! I cherish every single moment with you and thank you so much for making my days and for always making me smile! I LOVE YOU!!!
