Zacary Brenden- what are you up to these days?
It melts my heart so much to see this sweet lil boy and his big sweet brother together. They just love each other so much. I am so thankful to have 2 lil boys that are soooo sweet, happy, and great boys that already know they are best friends! Zacary smiles alllllll the time to Eli and it is the cutest thing in the world! He is smiling sooooo much and coos and it is so adorable! I just love to talk to his sweet lil face and see theeee biggest sweet smile right back at me :]
Zacary is now sleeping in his crib in his room and doing a wonderful job! He goes to sleep around 9pm at night and sleeps til some where between 7am and 8am in the morning! He is a goooood sleeper- just like his big brother- sooo blessed :]
Zacary takes one long nap a day. He usually naps around 1pm to about 4pm. It is so weird too b/c I got him and Eli on the same nap schedule, well I tried to do it and it was like Zacary knew on his own when brother was sleeping, so decides to as well. Some days he does not nap the same time as Eli but that is definitely part of bein a Mama. You are not gunna get the same thing everyday! Not gunna complain though... I love every single second of being a Mommy!! My house work and me time can wait until the boys are asleep at night- including the hubby too haha! I may be up too late at night but eh, I choose to be! :]
Zacary is in size 2 diaper and still in 3-6 month clothes. He can fit in some 6 month clothes- but some are also too big on him! He grips on to his lil rattle toys and loves to try to reach for his hangy toys I have attached to his infant seat and his play mat he got for Christmas! It's so cute to watch! He holds his head up so so so strong, rolls over from belly to back, is trying to already hold his bottles, and sits up so wonderful in his bumbo seat. Eli didn't quite learn all of these things as fast as Zacary has, but from what I hear- the 2nd always learns faster then your 1st did b/c they watch the older sibling a lot- which is what Zacary does for sure!
Zacary does have a bad case of reflux that we are stil trying to help him out with. I had to take him back to the Dr b/c the Zantac meds he was on was starting to wear off the bigger he got- so he now has to take a strong dosage of prevacid which should help him out from here on out. This makes me a very happy Mommy b/c it is the worst thing in the world to see him so so so sad over belly aches and spitting up :[ I cry and cry and cry myself. It's soooo sad. Gripe water also seems to help him out so much too so we give him that also- ANYTHING for my babies is what this Mommy is always going to do! I pray so much we stay on a good task for him with this- it's terribly sad when he is oh so sad...
I remember when Eli was 3 months he was already starting to teeth- and I know every baby is different but so far I don't recall Zacary is teething yet. I have felt his lil gums and nothing feels puffy!! It's so fun to go back and look at what Eli did at this age and that age- thank goodness for this awesome blog b/c I keep track of everything on here!!
Zacary's lil laughs and smiles are so sweet! He definitely knows Mommy, Daddy, and big brother for sure! He gives me thee biggest smile in the mornings when I go to get him up and it's so sweet! Eli and him are such great boys and the best lil heros to this Mommy!! He love love LOVES to cuddle every night before bed and nap and he holds the color of my shirt and just lays on me so peacefully while I rock him and he goes to sleep. I love it!!! Eli is definitely a cuddler now for sure but he wasn't as much when he was a baby- so anytime the 2 of them are cuddlers I soak that up oh so much!!! Zacary also loves to hold on to lil blankeys too- so sweet! He loves to look at lights, is very alert, looooves seeing Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on TV, Praise baby, and also Elmo! He just stares at the TV haha! Him and big brother love the same shows- how cute! Zacary has also tried a bit of cereal- and he loves it as long as there is formula mixed in with it!!! Yay :]
Zacary Brenden we love you oh so much baby boy. Mommy loves being home with you and big brother every single day and spending every min I can with you both. It makes me oh so happy and my heart a biiiiiig mush :] I love to be there to teach you both and see you smile and laugh and just have a good time!! You are so special to us just like big brother is!! Daddy is so excited to see his boys when he gets home from work- what a great Daddy he is!!!! Mommy and Daddy are alllllllways here for you lil guy and please know that as you grow. I will do absolutely anything in this world for my babies- no doubt about it!!! Thanks for bein a lil sunshine and such a sweet lil guy- I love you so much and I am so blessed to have 2 great and awesome lil boys!!!! Happy 3 months lil guy!!!!!
BY the way- congrats to our wonderful best friends Andy and Melinda Malone and BIG sister Tiffani :] Mr Lane Patrick Malone is here!!! Born December 22, 2010, 5 lbs 5 oz, and 18 inches long! He's soooo cute and perfect and the 4 of us can't wait to meet him!!
