Zacary fits into our family of 4 oh so perfect! I knew he would anyway- but just seeing him grow everyday and seeing the new things he learns is so awesome and totally refreshers from when Eli was this age 20 months ago! I love it that we had our boys so close in age! They are already close, you do not have to fill your mind in on what you did with your first since they are so close, and it is just amazing all in one!
It seems like all of a sudden Zacary grew SO much! My sister was at our house last weekend for Eli's birthday and kept mentioning how much he had grown just from Christmas, which was like 3 weeks before his birthday! I said the same exact thing, it seemed like one morning he woke up and was soooo long, and looked so much older! It is bittersweet in a way- my lil newborn baby is now an infant that is looking so grown up! I wish my babies would never ever hafta grow up... it makes me sad how fast the time is going. BUT I will say that I do cherish every single stinkin second with my boys... I'm sooooo thankful for that our memories every single day are totally amazing!
Zacary is finally a healthy baby- no more belly aches (woo hoo he grew out of them woot) and he is now completely over RSV too! I am sooo glad because he really did go thru a big bump in the road for his lil self. It was so sad and I found myself in tears so often as well- I just wanted my baby to feel better so so bad and now that he is 100% better he can tell he is and it breaks my heart to think about how he felt when he was so miserable at such a young age! I am so thankful he has been so healthy now though! Let's keep that up for my lil guy!
Zacary is wearing size 3 diapers. He is wearing size 3-6 months and some 6 months but a lot of 6 months clothes are too big on him still! He eats 5 oz bottles of formula and is now having cereal at night as well! He absolutely loves cereal- it's so cute to watch him eat it! Dr Rice gace us the get go to start him on dinner baby food starting today! I am going to give him some veggie baby food and fruit baby food at dinner with us every evening now and will work into feeding him baby food at lunch as he grows! It will be a fun experience to do for sure considering he sits with us in the small high chair at the table when we eat and we are all around the table and now he will eat with us too :] I am anxious to see how it goes- and Eli loves helping me feed him his cereal so I know he will want to help with baby food too- awww so adorable- he is such a good lil helper and a good big brother! I am also able to give him juice too which I will try out soon! (I always water it down so much though even for Eli I still do)
We have Eli's 2 year appointment on Thursday with Dr Rice and Zacary's 4 month appointment the same time which works out great! I will let you know what we find out on their stats :]
Zacary is sleeping wonderful!!! He goes to bed around 9pm every night and wakes up at 6am to eat and then goes back to sleep til 7:30am or 8am. He sleeps so so wonderful and is still sleeping in his big boy crib in his room! He takes one long afternoon nap everyday too from about 1pm to 4pm. I am always amazed he stays awake from the time he wakes up til 1pm but it works out great for him. He is able to be in on all our fun with Eli and I during the morning and then sleeps when Eli does- they are always awake and asleep at the same times pretty much, only Eli sleeps 2 hours instead of 3 at nap time! They are so cute :] I am very very proud of both of my boys on how well they sleep and how they are such good sports about it all. Love them both so so much :]
Zacary and Eli both lay in our bed with us everynight for about 30 minutes to get them ready for sleepy time. I love the time the 4 of us spend together before we all go to sleep- it's so precious and priceless and I wouldn't want to do it any other way! Noah and I also decided every Friday night we are gunna have "slumber parties" (as we tell Eli haha) in our bedroom and the boys get to sleep with us! Eli sleeps between Noah and I and Zacary is in the pak n play beside me. It is sooooo much fun- wouldn't change that for the world either- love loooove my lil family and all the awesome times we have together!
Zacary is now rolling over from belly to back and back to belly, he smiles so easy and all the time, he is now laughing a cute deep belly laugh and it makes me laugh along with him (and Eli finds it sooo funny Zacary knows how to laugh now too) :], he coos all the time too and it is adorable (when I ask him to tell me a story he just coos away it's so cute) :], he is such an active lil fella- always wanting us to stand him up, sit him up, and when he doesn't want held a certain way- he is a strong lil fella and pretty much shows us how he wants to sit on us hahaha! It cracks me up! His cry is very loud, but I still love him to death, he is a sweet and awesome lil guy I love to death!!! He gets very very mad when he is hungry (he cries like he is in pain- that is how hard and loud he cries over food) Poor lil guy! Noah says he gets that from him ha! That made me laugh- I just feel so bad he gets so worked up but then minute his bottle hits his lips he is good to go! :] He tries to already hold his bottle too- stop growing my sweet precious lil guy! He loooooves to stare and watch Eli play, watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, go to playgroups and the library with Mommy and Eli, sit in his bumbo, play on his jungle play mat, play with rattles, cuddling, you love to hold on to the top of my shirt and blankets, grab on to things, and he loves to stand between my legs and just laugh and laugh! It's so so so darn sweet! He loves to lay on his tummy and he also naws on his hands b/c we believe he is teething! He has tried out the jumperoo a couple times and likes that but we are gunna wait til he is a lil older for him to use it more often! He still is a lil wobbly in it and I don't want him to get hurt with his lil head or something! I am a very paranoid person ha! He loves to watch Noah Eli and I and it is so cute how he will watch us walk across the room and all and it just melts my heart to see his cute lil smile always!
You love love being involved with things with Eli! You watch him allll the time and I truly believe that is why you learn so fast! I truly do :] You want to be runnin around with Eli and I do not blame you one single bit! You 2 get so much closer as you grow and it is so cute to see the 2 of you together! I just want you both to stay at this age forever- this Mommy has a hard hard time thinking of you when you will grow up and be off to school etc. Oh boy let's not even go there for now! It makes me sooo down! You n Eli are 2 peas in a pod and you can definitely tell you are brothers! I do not think you look exactly alike like I used to but you have a lot of the same traits (nose, chin, eyes, hair) and you make some of the same faces- it is so cute and makes me smile! Zacary is more of Noah's mini-me though haha it's so scary sometimes how much Noah and him look alike! So cute tho :] It is so much fun having 2 lil boys so close in age- I pretty much consider them as my twins and love every second of time I spend with the both of them every single day :] I love you both so so sooooooo much <3
The poor lil guy spits up all the time. This is the only problem I am talking to Dr Rice about on Thursday. He never is in pain and never cries when he spits up and it is never projectile spitting up but he still spits up so much- it breaks my heart! I am hoping so much everything is okay with it.. crossing the fingers so much! My poor poor baby :[ I literally have to keep a bib on him at all times or I have to change him a ton of times and me too- it's so sad for him :[
Zacary I love you so much and always will lil guy! Just like I always tell big brother- I am always here for you and always will be no matter what! You are also a very sweet sweet boy full of love, laughs, and smiles! You and your big brother mean absolutely everything to me and you both make my days in the smallest ways! I am soooo blessed to have 2 great lil boys! I will never forget the day you were born and we met you for the first time- I knew right then and there you were perfect and wonderful for our family! I love watching you and big brother grow everyday and not missing a thing! It is wonderful and I love my full-time job as both of your Mommy! I would never ever change a thing in the world to be home with you 2 every single day- it is the best decision I have ever ever made!
HAPPY 4 MONTHS lil guy! It is hard to believe that in 2 months you could be crawling- ahhhh time goes too fast when you have lil kids- they grow way toooooo fast! I love you!!!
