You are such a joy to our lives and we love you so so much! I can't say it enough -- and not only that but you are a very good boy and seem to be learning new things every single day and talking so much more too!!!
You have adjusted very well to your new big boy bed and get so excited when you see your bed! You point to it and say "Mommy... bed!" and smile so big -- it's adorable! You are sleeping so much better too!!! It is so funny -- bc when Eli got a big boy bed he didn't get out of bed ever and when he woke up he would just hollar "Mamaaaa" haha! Zacary gets up when he wakes up and knocks on his door and talks haha and says "Mommmmmy" hahaha! It cracks me up so much how they both did different things when they wake up :]
I am very proud of you -- it was so so hard for me the first night I saw you sleeping in your big boy bed... just as it was the same when Eli first got a bed! And now the fact that we have no babies in a crib til Nov just blows my mind away!!! I checked on both my babies so much last week haha and I still do of course every night like I always have! You both have done so so good tho and I am very proud :] At the same time, it's bittersweet!!! I also love the snuggle, chat, read a story time with you and big brother too of course :]
Other then adjusting to your new big boy bed so great- you are also into coloring and watching Elmo and Mickey Mouse, the Wiggles, Blue's Clues, the Chipmunks, and Happy Feet and Happy Feet 2! You could literally sit and color forever too. I love to color as well- so we always color pictures together with big brother and also doing all our fun crafts too which you also love love to do! He likes to make lil squiggles and also loves to color on the easel too!!! I love it soooo much to see him enjoy coloring and also reading books! That’s still a big kick too of course and I have started to read him a book each day before nap and before bed time too- he loves it!!! I love how him and Eli both love to read stories :]
Zacary is talking more and more everyday -- especially within this last month! It blows my mind away!!! He says: Mommy, Mama, Daddy, Dada, Eli, Bo, Puppy Dog, Benny, Belle, Elmo, Mickey, Cookie, Baby, Hotdog, Popsicle, Car, Thank You, Please, Baseball, Football, Hi, Bye Bye, Uh Oh, Oh No, Look, Gooo Get Eli, yeaaaaah, woot, pizza, bubble, apple, shoe, all done, Buzz, Cliff (for Clifford), ball, blanket, bed, pillow, juice, sippy, milk, baba (for bottle), phone, Zach, Jasmine, Happy (for Happy feet), Alvin (off the chipmunks), cow, kitty cat, Uh oh I poopied (and holds his bottom) haha soooo smart, help me Mommy, I fell down Mommy, all done Mommy, watch me Mommy, Look Mommy look, and I am prolly forgetting some since he is talking more and more but you get my jist :] He is doing so so so good!!!! I am so stinkin proud :]
I have decided I am not going to start potty training for the first time until mid May. And I am not expecting full out potty train by then -- just want to see how he will do! I have been introducing him to the potty and he def shows me where it is and knows what it is -- which is a great start! He told me one day he had to poop when I asked him if he did and we went and sat on potty and he loved it! he didn't make it to the potty on time (no biggie of course ha) but it was so good of him he wanted to sit up there and he was so proud!!! Made me one proud Mama too -- go Zacary Brenden gooooo :] We will slowly get this down... if it doesn't work in May we will keep trying until it clicks... I am not one to force my child to pee on the potty and to adjust to anything different in their lives... when they are ready is when it will happen :] I do not want them confused or not understanding ever and plus he just got a new big boy bed- so we are adjusting to one thing at a time with a good amount of time in between. We will see where time leads us though and what works out for the best... I refuse to let it ever stress me out just as I never stressed with Eli :]
Zacary has 10 teeth and I believe some back ones coming thru (his gums feel a lil swollen!) He is now wearing 24 mo and 2T shirts and 18 month pants and in size 4 and 5 diapers :] (have to wear size 5 at night) He wears size 5.5 and 6 in shoes- his feet are such cute lil and wide feet!!! He is still eating the same as normal but can be so picky sometimes! I just keep tellin myself it is a phase he is going through!
Zacary loves baths, to be outside, ride his toy 4-wheeler, ride in the wagon, swing a bat a ball on a tee, go anywhere with Mommy and brother during the week, he loves to read, color, watch cartoons, play in his room with all his toys with us, go to playgroup with Mommy and big brother, loves to see his Daddy when he gets home from work, loves having days with just Mommy and Daddy and big Brother, loves wrestling with Daddy already- YIKES ha, loves helping pick out what to wear everyday, he love loves to smile, wave HI and BYE, laugh at anything, giving Daddy and Mommy and Big Brother hugs hugs hugs and kisses alllll the time (he just puts his lil head up to our mouths and wants kisses and will give hugs out of no where it is so so so cute and awesome!) You also love your dogs Benny and Belle and kitty cat Bo -- you love animals in general... you love love them and stuffed animals too awww! Although you are getting to be such a big boy you still love to sit on Daddy and Mommy's laps and also have us hold you. Makes me smile everytime- you have become more of a snuggler too- you love to lay in our bed with us and snuggle and want to snuggle more in your big boy bed too awww love!!! You love to do crafts, sing songs (you sing itsy bitsy spider, wheels on the bus, mr golden sun, twinkle twinkle lil star, any wiggles songs, and shake your sillies out) :]:] it is sooo cute and you try doing the motions too :]
You know where your nose, mouth, eyes, feet, toes, hands, fingers, and ears are- and you can also show us where ours is too when we ask :] You are good with knowing what objects are too!!! If I ask where something is you find it and bring it to me awww it's so so cute and smart :]
We are currently working on beginning word flash cards, playin more baseball, family members names, and different animals!
Zacary is a climber and is def really brave! Eli wants Zacary to try things out first and he is not scared of characters such as the Easter Bunny and anything dressed in a costume haha! Eli wants me, and Zacary will sit right up there beside me! Zacary has his Daddy's temper when he gets mad, but then is in a great mood again within a minute! It really cracks me up at times when he gets mad b/c it is just like Noah... and I know what to expect from it b/c of Noah so I give him his space and he is good to go before I know it :] He is such a good lil boy tho... and oh sooooo sweet! I love to hear his lil voice tell us "ni-niiiiight!" awwww :] His lil voice sounds so much like Eli's did at this age too!!!! It's crazy!
He is so excited to see me each morning when he wakes up and I just love it! He is always up before Eli and when Eli wakes up he says "hiiii Eli" or sometimes before Eli is up he wants to go wake him or asks about him after awhile awww so precious -- they are such good buddies and it melts me! They do have their lil tissys over things, but all in all they are great friends and look out for one another! They love to ride in their jeep together outside, they are sharing good together, and just love to play together too! I am so happy to see my babies such good buddies -- melts my heart!!!
Zacary is still sleeping so so good! My babies love their sleep! He goes to bed round 830pm and gets up around 7am and takes a 2.5 hour nap a day too!!! Zacary has his 18 month Dr appointment mid Aprl (that was the soonest I could get in!) I will def keep posted on stats and also like to compare him to Eli at this age too :] I feel like Eli was just this age -- everything still so clear. It really is so bittersweet how fast my baby boys are growing!!!!! PLEASE STAY LITTLE FOREEVER -- don't you ever grow up :]
My lil guy makes my day every single day in the smallest ways. I am so proud to be his Mommy and just can’t believe he is as old as he is already. Makes me have a tear and to think my Eli is 3 yrs old too doesn't help this matter... gosh to even think about preschool in Fall of 2013 makes me want to cry... noooooo never! He is such a good boy and I am so proud of him for how happy and thoughtful he always is! I just love him to pieces sooooo much and so does his Daddy and his Big Brother too of course! We talk every night about how absolutely good our babies are all the time and how we just love them so much! I thank Noah for everything he does for the boys and I- he is the main reason we are always so happy! He is such a wonderful Daddy and Husband for sure and does anything for us and I am absolutely thankful for that soooooo much! Lil Zacary Brenden we love you more than any words can explain lil guy!!!!!!! You and your big brother and your lil bebe brother or sister are theeeeee best ever!!!!! Always know that Mommy and Daddy love you so much!
I have to add also that when Eli was younger we would ask him what cookie monster says and he would say "cookie" real deep haha and now Zacary does that too hahaha my babies crack me up and are so so funny!!!! Always making me smile :]:]:]
