The night before St Patty's day when the boys went to sleep I told them a lucky leprechaun may visit our house in the night but would not go into their rooms! They were excited to get up in the morning to see if he came :]
I hit candy around the house, made it look like lucky the leprechaun drank water at the table, watched tv, used our bathroom and put the toothbrush and paste in weird spots and the step stool upside down on the potty haha, then put a pillow on our entertainment center and he also played hopscotch with coasters on the dining room floor haha!!!! When the boys woke up we got on Kermit the Frog shirts that said "it's easy being green" on them and they were so excited to go downstairs to see what lucky the leprechaun left for them :]:]
I also wrote a note on the table that said "Eli and Zacary -- I am over the rainbow in love with you Happy St Patty's day Love Lucky Leprechaun" :]:] I put his lil foot prints on it too and the boys just loved that! He left them rainbow cereal in green bowls and green milk with the note too :]:]
Here are some cute pics of that morning. That thought it was so fun to find candy throughout the house and laughed about the different things lucky did around our house too.. Eli said "he wanted to have a slumber party I think" hahaha!!! So cute -- love my babies so much!!! That evening we went to a friend's and had a cookout and played baseball and played with toys and had a good time! It was a very fun day with my awesome lil fam :]:]
This is also our St Patty's day from 2009 to 2012 --
2009: Eli was 2 mo old -- 2010: Eli was 14 mo old -- 2011: Eli was 26 mo old and Zacary was 5 mo old -- 2012: Eli is 3 yrs 2 mo and Zacary is 17 mo old :] CRAZY how big they have grown and oh so bittersweet!!!! Tears! LOVE my babies with my whole heart -- and just think... next year there will be 3 eeeeek! :]
