***Our Christmas Eve 2009***

Ok so I am a few days behind my family's Christmas this year- but better late then never huh?

We had such a busy holiday this year- but it was very fun watching Eli :] He is at the perfect age right now and it was so cute watching him open presents! By the end of the day I will say- he was so sick of opening presents this Mama opened them for him! He opened presents a total of 5 different times between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day- too much for our lil man but he loves everything he got- that is for sure!

Christmas Eve the three of us first went to Noah's parents house for the whole Zehr side of the family. There.was.a lot.of.people. That is all I will say ha! Seriously-there was like 70 people- INSANE! But it was a fun time! We didn't open any gifts that evening, just a get together with all the family! Molly's (Noah's sister) fiance Aaron is so talented and look what he made out of all of our Christmas card envelopes starting with Noah's grandparents Byron and Pat and adding all us kids and of course Eli and the baby on the way Jasmine, and then ending with Brett and Chris (Noah's parents)

*Isn't that soooo amazing??? I just love love LOVE it and think it is sooo neat!*

*And our lil family of course* :]

After going to the Zehr's that evening... we went to my parents house in Stanford. It was soooooo.much.fun to watch Eli open gifts! At my parents house it was my Dad, my Mom, my sister and her bf Michael, and then Taylor and the three of us! We all had such a fun and loving time together and opening gifts was so much fun, as well as watching Eli open all his gifts! He was so interested in the paper and then he wanted every toy! I started out helping him, and after the first present he opened we all said "yaaaay" and he started clapping his hands!!! It was sooo cute and funny! Then he started handing over every piece of paper he would rip off and hand it to my Dad hahaha! Then he wanted his Papa- so Papa and Eli opened gifts and Daddy helped Eli open gifts too. SO SO SO cute!!! Papa surprised us all at the end and brought in a toy box he made for Eli (pics provided below!) It is something that truly means so much to me and Eli will always love it! He was sitting inside of it and my Dad cut stars on the sides of the toy box (bc we all know Eli is obsessed with stars and saying the word star haha!) I would look through the stars and he got so tickled. My Dad also signed the back of the toy box and said "To Eli from Grandpa Peek Christmas 2009." I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I also loved all my gifts too and think my parents spent too much on me! I was so excited to see they got me a black North Face and then my sister and Michael got me a pink and brown striped Dooney and Bourke purse (can we say obsessed?) I guess I was a good girl this year ;] Noah absolutely loved everything he got too! We are blessed to have such great families- that is for sure!!!!! Eli plays with all his new toys every single day- it's adorable how much he loves them! Here are A LOT of pics of the rest of our Christmas Eve night! It was such a good time for sure and so good to be with all of the family too! :]

By the time we got home it was actually pretty late and Eli fell asleep on the way home and didn't wake up when we got home so we put him to bed. Thankfully we had his Christmas PJ's and had him all ready for bed before we left Stanford. I tried to convince Noah to open one preset from me, but he wouldn't hahaha! We decided next year when Eli understands more that we are going to open one gift together as a family Christmas Eve night before bed! I love my lil family so so so so much!!!!
