We just had my Mom, Dad, Grams, and bro Taylor here visiting us from last Weds afternoon until early early morning yesterday. It was a fun time, lots of laughs and good to see them! He had to show them all he had in his room and everything! He began to tug them around and lead them into places too. He sure is a busy man going from one thing to the next, and now can climb up on our couch by himself. Yikes… I always have crossed my fingers he wouldn’t be a big climber and so far, this is as far as he has gone with climbing on things at 16 mo. Not too bad- and hopefully it stays that way :] BUT if not- I will adjust with the lil monkey hahaha! Of course I get my camera charger in and I am stoked- and then I can't find my camera. I never told Noah this haha and go figure- I found it last night in my dresser drawer!? Why in there I will never know but that is why I did not get many pics from their visit! I diiiid get some though :]
Eli absolutely loves to be in water, whether it is the hose, the sprinkler, or his small pool! Our subdivision’s pool opened today- but of course it is rainy and crappy out today guh. I can’t wait to take him there though it’s going to be so much fun! I’m so paranoid he will burn though so plan to keep a shirt on him most of the time… the sun down here is H-O-T!
Eli is also into some new foods… and some of these you will be surprised he likes haha! He loves loves to eat bananas, pineapple, and strawberries a lot lately and now likes blackberries and black olives too. EWWWW!!! I couldn’t believe he ate a black olive and made no face when he did. He yells “ball ball ball ball ball” the whole time hahaha! That will be the only “ball” you eat lil man!
He is a friendly lil man- he likes people beyond people haha. He even blew our waitress a kiss the other day hahaha! Either that- or he is a flirt :] He enjoys all people and is such a friendly lil man! He loves giving hugs and kisses lately too and that just melts my heart. Since the binkers has been gone he is now talkin more too- he says: apple, all gone, duck, bubble, book, tries to say Elmo and Big Bird too. He is getting sooo big and so smart too! His new thing also is to make a loud noise at his book shelf and when you pull down a book he will shove it away until you get the right book he wants. HA! Keeps me smiling and laughing that is for sure- all the time. I am so so proud to be my lil man’s Mommy and I know his Daddy is sure proud too! He is really into Noah’s motorcycle and loves loves it! I think it is sooooo cute and someday if he wants a motorcycle I wouldn’t mind… as long as he always listens to Mommy and wears a helmet and as long as he is in his 20’s when he owns it hahaha!
This kinda seems like a month to month blog- but no… just wanted to do an update. I feel like it really has been forever since I have blogged and it drives me crazy ha! So there you have it my friends… a new post to read, and what lil man is up to :] I sit here typing this as he naps… I just don’t know what to do with myself some days when he naps and Noah is at work. BUT that’s ok :] I could be doing laundry- but blogging is more important to me :]
I love you lil man so so much! I know I say that a lot- but I just can't say it enough. Motherhood is absolutely amazing!!!! This lil man's love to us is so amazing too and he does the littlest things to make my entire day or even week :]
