Today has been one crazy day- let me tell you! It could be worse- but just a lot to keep on my plate for the day haha! Lil man and I first left this morning to go to playgroup to find ourselves lost... so we didn't end up going :/ I was very bummed bc we love to go and yeah- we had to miss out today... call me a dumb blonde or blame the GPS- which ever one you wunna do. My choice is to blame the GPS though :] It wouldn't let me put in Lakeside WAY and kept putting in DRIVE instead. BLAH! And mapquest did me no help... so yeah- no playgroup. I got over it in 2.5 seconds though- why dwell on it all day right?
So then lil man and I took a trip to Dollar Tree (love that store) I always get my glass cleaner, cleaning supplies, and then hand soaps there! $1 a piece- can't beat it and I am all about saving money any chance I get... I have become my father when it comes to spending money. I look for bargains all.the.time. I would rather be that way than high maintenance though- right? I'm sure Noah appreciates me lookin for the best sales always too :] Atleast I hope ha! But anyway- that trip went good for sure. Lil man was so funny and so cute- I got him a Mickey Mouse book and an Elmo book and he was shouting out their names throughout the store. Then he wanted this lil kick ball (to add to his "I have a million balls" collection) and he kept throwing it to play catch and was bein very cute and good about it, but this preggo belly wasn't givin in bendin over so much to pick up the ball :] So needless to say- I have been having sharp pains in my lower belly a lot today- to where it takes my breath away (I'll come back to that story in a bit).
From the Dollar Tree lil man and I went to change the oil in the car for Daddy before we go to STL this weekend. To make a very long story short- the guy found a shop rag stuck in the hood of our car where the belt and pulley (spelling?) are at. They tried to get it out and wondered why it was there. I told them the last time our car was serviced- was at Wal-Mart when they changed our oil the last time. SO they left the rag in, had me take a pic and right when the guy was done with the oil change, told me to drive immediately to Wal-Mart and talk to a manager while also making sure they will cover the cost of our belt and pulley if it ever were to go bad since this stupid shop rag was placed in there. I was so mad- and Noah was too. Eli was being such a good boy once again- he was great alllll morning and just kept me smiling and laughing. Through all this craziness- we had great bond time at the same time. While waiting on the waiting room on the car as the guy changed our oil- we played and read books and he was obsessed with the gum ball machine haha... he was a very good boy! As a matter of fact- for the matter that he was with me and kept me goin in a great mood all morning is the reasoning to why I didn't pull out anyone's hair at Wal-Mart- so thank you Eli... you always do Mommy big favors and are so gosh darn sweet. You definitely keep me going allll the time and smiling for sure!!! I love you so darn much!
So after this- off to Wal-Mart we go. I told a manager the situation of the car and asked "why in the world would anyone even leave a rag in someone's hood of their car? Any reasons behind that?" where the manager had no good response whatsoever and not to mention had the biggest hillbillyish accent I have heard down in Georgia since we have moved here (just sayin :]). They did admit it was their rag though and the guy got it out and then I said "welllll we won't cover the cost for a new belt and pulley if ours goes out considering this is not our fault- so we need proof that you guys will take care of this for us if that happens." The manager said at the time the belt and pulley look great and Noah can check it out and look for himself and if he does not agree to bring it back in. They also gave me a paper of proof that was also signed with the hillbillyish manager's signature that says Wal-Mart will file a claim and have this all taken care of if any troubles come up in the future- AND just remember my friends... this is alllll over a STUPID SHOP RAG! Give me a dog gone break! So note to you: think twice if you ever take your car to get an oil change at Wal-Mart... who knows what they will leave in your hood of your car. Unless it's just a bizzare southern thing going on!
I got Eli a Toy Story book and during the back and forthness of this craziness- I read the book to him and we walked down the bicycle aisle a ton of times while he shouted in joy at the bikes. He looooves bikes- and the electronic jeeps the lil kids have. I am thinkin some day we will need to get him one of those!!!! He was such a good boy that after all of this mess- we chilled and went to McDonalds for lunch! He had him a chicken mcnugget happy meal and was so good! I just hugged and kissed him so much... he made my complete day of stuff I did not want to deal with into a wonderful day just by being his sweet self he always is to us! I love you lil man!!!! <3 I am so thankful to be home with you always- it melts my heart!
So then we come home and CRRRRRASH (both of us) we slept for 2 hrs and I woke up IN PAIN again (from the belly pain I mentioned before)... sharp sharp pains in my lower tummy and baby has barely been moving all day today. I got worried so called the nurse at the Dr office... WHO MADE ME FEEL LIKE A COMPLETE IDIOT!!!! She states "this is normal and to drink a big glass of juice and then make sure he moves 5 times in 5 minutes" blah. I hate when they make me feel like an idiot... but heck- 6 weeks left- I think I can manage! Just prayin this lil guy stays healthy and that I don't have that pain much more. It scared the cripes out of me.
So to top of this day- hubby says he is gunna come home early- can I get a woooooot? And right now lil man and I are relaxing in our bed watching ELMO :] He has his lil head laying on my big ole belly and it is so darn cute. He keeps touching it and saying "brother" toooo freakin cute! Make me cry lil man :] As a matter of fact I better end this novel now bc all of a sudden lil man has decided to start jumping on the bed and is near hurting himself by falling off the bed. SO TOOTLES. I don't need an injured toddler today for sure or ever! Hope everyone has had a good day... and you will hear from me soon of course- beings I am a blog addict :]
