What are you up to at 9 months baby Zacary?
You are wearing size 4 in diapers and wearing size 9-12 months in clothes! It seems the shirts are more 12 months and the shorts/pants are 9 months! It is so funny too b/c lookin back at Eli at this age he was wearing right around the same size!!! They have so much alike with the way they are built as babies and their personalities too – so stinkin sweet! :]
You take 1 nap a day and have done this since day one! It’s like you caught on right away when big brother takes nap and you take a nap too! You sleep about 1pm to 4pm or somewhere around that time area ha! You are sleeping so wonderful – all through the night from about 9:00 or 9:30pm to 7:30 or 8:00am :] You have been a great sleeper always just like your big brother! You love to have your sleep just like Eli always has as well and still does! Mommy and Daddy also love their sleep as well so you very much get it honestly hehe since you have a double wami! :] I will say both of my boys are night owls like me though!!! Not a bit deal though – if they are up a wee bit later then normal they usually sleep in a wee bit longer in the morning! We still try to have them in bed by 9 or 9:30pm every night tho for sure!
You still have no teeth and I am waiting for them to pop thru for you baby boy! I am guessing you are gunna get a lot of your teeth in at the same time! Either way – they will come when they are ready and you have been a trooper with them trying to work their way thru – your number 1 thing to have for your gums is a frozen popsicle not opened (the ones in the plastic) and just chewing away on anything ha! Orajel works wonders too!!!
You are now eating table food and baby fruit food. Just like Eli was – you loved baby food and then when we gave you some mashed potatoes one day you did not want to go back to the veggie baby food and I really can’t say I blame you – that stuff reaks and makes me gag just feeding it to you!!! Eli was the exact same way too haha so neat and funny! But for a lil guy with no teeth we give you things you can eat like mashed potatoes, apple sauce, mushed up fruit of any sort, puffs, yogurt melts, yogurt, very small pieces of turkey meat or I can even give him mushed up ravioli in tiny bites and he loves eating pancakes mushed up in real tiny pieces too! You love oatmeal and then love any type of baby fruit food! You are not a picky eater at all :]
You are now on 3 meals a day!!! You are not a big fan of baby cereal so I switched to oatmeal and you love that for breakfast or mushed up pancakes, or yogurt, or any kind of mushed up fruit! You eat lunch around 11:30 and 12:30pm and then dinner around 5:00pm and 6:00pm. Once I started on 3 meals when Eli and I eat and then when we all eat as a family together in the evening you caught on very well and do very good!!!! You always eat breakfast with big brother and eat lunch when Mommy and big brother do, and you try to eat dinner around the time of Mommy, Daddy, and Eli, but sometimes you and Eli get hungry earlier so I feed your sweet lil faces then! :] You are also now only taking 3 bottles of formula a day, soon will cut down to 2! Cutting down on the bottles is hard for me once again and was with Eli too of course, especially since I always cuddle you with a bottle before nap and bed… sigh do my babies have to keep growing!?!? I will say my babies both LOVE to cuddle every day before nap and bed and I just LOVE it :]
You clap your hands, wave bye bye and hi, smile so much, laugh, and crawl all over the place and try to get into anything you can but Mommy is fast and catches you haha! It is so funny too b/c Eli is such a good protector and big brother and if I happen to be getting Eli a drink or Zacary or them a snack etc he will run to me and tell me if Zacary is trying to get on the fireplace or get a cord (he is obsessed with cords like to my lap top or anything that plugs in – scary!!! Luckily I am very fast to get him tho AND have outlet covers on all of our outlets!!!) – I think it is so darn sweet how Eli looks out for him – even all the times I am right there beside both of my babies Eli says “Mommy Mommy Zacary get him” if Zacary is all of a sudden crawling in a wrong direction awwwww!!! I love their age difference and how sweet, adorable, and loving to each other :]
You pull yourself up on anything to stand up and as of yesterday you actually let go and was standing there all alone by yourself. I was in shock haha and said “Eli Eli looook at brother!” and Zacary stood there for I swear close to a minute just smiling and laughing hahaha! I was in such shock I only could get a pic on my phone and it is kinda blurry but I still got one! I will post later of course:] I predict you MAY be walking by the time you are 1 haha! You sit so silly sometimes and do this happy dance thing and you are also dancing to music that plays and when we sing songs too! You try to do the motions to some songs we sing and it is sooo darn cute (wheels on the bus and mr golden sun are the 2 he tries to do motions too already my oh my how smart and cute!!) :]
You are becoming more and more vocal and when Eli and I tell you to say “Mama” :Dada” and “Eli” he tries so hard to work it out and say it – it’s so cute! He is gunna be saying it before we know it and then sometimes he just smiles when we tell him to say it haha! He lets out happy screams and randomly jabbers and when he is mad – oh boy! Haha I love you so much my lil guy but you are mad when you are mad! He throws himself back and gets so upset too fast (he gets it from his daddy haha and Noah admits to that too) – this only happens when he is mostly hungry or when I am cooking… but I have been giving him a little bit of puffs or yogurt bites now as I cook and he is good to go and so happy and watches me cook away while big brother plays with race cars or dances around the kitchen and bein silly hahaha! It is getting better now for sure so that is good b/c it makes me so sad when he gets so upset like that poor lil buddys! Then again crying is the only way of communicating sooo it will get even better as he learns to talk etc :]
You love playing with any toys there are and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse :] You also love playing with your toes too haha! You are no longer interested in your jumperoo or baby swing but you do love to swing outside and you also will use your walker too! You love to just be outside too and play in Eli’s room :] I can already tell he loves our library dates as well and it’s so stinkin cute! I let him down to play with Eli and I too when we are at the library now in the kid area and he has such a good time with us as well now that he is movin around and all and just smiles, jabbers, and laughs away to us :] You love to see Mommy Daddy and Eli so much! You kick your feet and smile every morning when we go into Eli’s room when he wakes up after you and you always want to be with him! Eli is such a great big brother and you have learned so much from him and it melts my heart! Eli is a great lil boy to follow in his footsteps my lil guy – and you are just as sweet as he is! I love my babies so so so much they make me beyond happy :]
Every morning you are standin up when I come to get you out of bed and you smile away and jabber to me! Your faces lights up when Daddy gets home from work too and it is so cute!!!! LOVE! :] You do not like it when Mommy leaves the room for a second – you get upset and it makes me sad so I hurry hurry hurry or come and hold you aww! At the same time it makes me feel so good too b/c I know it’s just all out of love! Eli was the same way and Eli still doesn’t like me leaving the room or house when we are home even if it is for a split second to do something for them or to run to the store down the road! I know it is all out of love for sure and it’s bc I do not ever leave them but it makes me feel guilty when this happens! I know it is b/c we spend each and every single day together and do fun things as well so try not to feel guilty especially since I am not gunna be gone long! I know it is all out of love though and it makes me feel so good to see how they show love to me – kisses, hugs, saying “nooo don’t go Mommy” and even them and Noah wanting to come with aww :] Seeing sweet Zacary crawl right behind me or get upset when I leave the room and Eli runnin right behind me to where I would trip if I step back haha, awww makes me run as fast as I can to do what I gotta do and swoop my babies on up!!! :] You also love to be held by Mommy lil guy and cuddled too – and I love that :] Eli says “Eli’s turn too” and I assure him that I also have room for him on my lap too and love sitting there with 2 lil boys on my lap wanting to cuddle :] I am sure in the teenage years my babies won't want this from me ha so I cherish every single bit of it and love it! I always want my babies to know I am their best friend and love them so so very much -- I always pray we are as close as we are now forever! I am sure that is normal for parents to think about though... just want to have that strong relationship with my kids always and I will always show them love and do anything in this world for them and my hubby!!! <3
We were suppose to go to the Dr for your 9 month appointment yesterday but I had to take you into the Dr on Monday bc you were not feeling good and thank goodness the Dr could fit you in b/c you have a double ear infection and cold :[ It makes me so so sad to see my babies sick :[ I am doing all I can for him though and hoping Eli stays healthy!!! The meds has worked wonders and he has had his best day today so I am very thankful he is getting better poor lil guy!! So we go for your appointment on July 20th now but they did weigh you on Monday and you are right at 21 lbs! That is what our scales at home say too!! You are 1 lb less than Eli was at 9 months! Not too much different!! You know who a stranger is now and you do this shy thing where you cover your eyes and then reach for Mommy awww it’s so cute!!! You reach for us now too when you want us!!!:] You are a sweet lil guy following big brother’s footsteps and it is beyond adorable :] Eli now likes to help feed Zacary and is so gentle and good with it and is so proud of himself it is so cute! I just love it!!!!!
You are such a lil joy we love oh so much and each and every day you and big brother find something to show us so much love, joy, and so many smiles!!! Daddy and I are so thankful for you and so blessed for our babies and will always love you so much and do anything in the world for you! You are such a good baby and we love you Zacary Brenden!!!! Happy 9 months lil guy :]
*Of course I wanted to do this again at 9 mo pics awww! They sure look like brothers -- same eye color and eyes, head, chin, and nose! They look alike but then they have their own lil look to them too - LOVE!!! This pic also makes me sad to see how much Eli has grown since then my goodness (tear)*
*I also wanted to add this as well! I LOVE both of these pics! It's so awesome to see how my lil family grew and to think of all the great memories we have all had together from the start of Noah and I dating to married to these great lil boys.. just everything!!! LOVE! :] My lil family is beyond the best ever and I'd be nothing without any of them! They are my heroes!!!! I love all 3 of them to the moooooon and baaaaack* <3
