***Just Wanted to Share this News with You***

So I have some good news to share on Mommy's end. I am sure if Eli was old enough to make his own decisions, he would have decided to do this by now haha since he is getting to be such a biiiiig boy! Sooooo Ok ok- so here is the news. My lil Eli slept in his crib in HIS room for the first time last night and did great eeek!!! He has been in his crib away from Mommy and Daddy in our room for quite some time, and I finally talked myself into moving him into HIS OWN ROOM last night ha! He slept all night too! He woke up about 3am for his binky and his face was like "Mommy, where am I?" BUT he went right back to sleep! I had the monitor up pretty loud ha and kept going in and checking on him!! Noah kept telling me, "Jess, he is going to be fine" hahaha! I love my hubby:] I also talked myself OUT of sleeping on his floor hahaha. What can I say- I am a very paranoid Mommy. I am very scared of the SIDs deal and have been since the day Eli was born so never wanted him out of our room and I felt if he was in our room that I would feel much better, so I was in no hurry to move him into his own room for awhile. He has been sleeping all night and so great for awhile now, and last night out of no where I said "Do you wunna have Eli sleep in his room tonight?" AND WE DID HA! I have been patting myself on the back all day I must say ha! Not only did Eli survive it- but I did too :]

Oh Jessica - That is a BIG step! I DID sleep on the floor, on Olivia's first night in her crib in her room. Of course, that was a mere 4 years & 7 months ago give or take a few days :) I did the same thing with Rachel. It made the transition easier on me...but don't tell anyone HAHAHA!

Awesome! Just watch out for the waking up at 3 a.m. thing. Clayton slept all night and then started doing that and wanted to play and eat every night at 3 a.m. The only way to solve that was to let him cry it out. After one night of that he has slept through the night ever since. Little Eli is still a little young for that though!
