***Eli's first vacation- to Wisconsin Dells*** <3

We are baaaack from our lil trip to Wisconsin Dells! It was a good lil fam vacation! We left Mackinaw at 5:30pm on Wednesday and got back that following Saturday at about 8:00pm! It honestly felt like we were gone a lot longer then we were, but it was fun! Eli did so wonderful as well! He was such a great little baby!!!! I couldn’t have asked for him to be any better then he was! :] The poor lil guy did great in his carseat too! The drive was about 4 hours, which didn’t seem bad at all! We had one break on the way there and the way home, so Eli was able to stretch his body and move around during those times! When we got to our resort, Noah and I layed on our bed and played with Eli for a bit. He did so great- I was so so proud of him :]

We didn’t get to the Dells until 10:30pm on Wednesday, so we didn’t do much that day. We (and when I say we I mean: Brett (Noah’s Dad), Chris (Noah’s Mom), Zach (Noah’s Brother), Erica (Zach’s girlfriend), Molly (Noah’s Sister), Aaron (Molly’s fiancé), Emily, Lydia, Josiah (Noah’s younger sibs), and then of course Noah, Eli, and I. ) all went into Brett and Chris’ room and hung out together and talked. We had two rooms, and they each had a loft in them. Brett and Chris had the loft in their room with all the girls below with their own beds, and then Noah, Eli, and I had the loft in our room with the guys all below us in their bed. They were all pretty sweet!!!! BUT the beds were way hard and too small. I didn’t sleep so great but Noah and Eli did- so I was very happy!

On Thursday we all got up in the morning and some of us went to breakfast. Noah didn’t want to go because he isn’t a breakfast person so Eli and I went. We went to Denny’s, and Eli was once again, a great baby! He didn’t get the French toast he told me he wanted hahaha, but he did have his breakfast there too(cereal)! After breakfast we all went back to the room and then got ready and went and rode go-karts! Of course lil Eli is too small to ride one haha so he either sat with Mommy or Daddy or Grandma or Grandpa while we rode them! It was such a good time!!!! The guys all went together and got a lil rough- but who cares :] It was a good time! We theeeen went back to the resort and went to the indoor water park at the resort we stayed! It was SO much fun!!! Eli was so stinkin cute in his swimtrunks and he loved the water! He actually acted like he had been swimming 100 times hahaha. He didn’t really react at first like I thought he would! But he was in the water for so long and did a wonderful job! We even took him to the kiddie pool and he loved to sit there too. We took him around the lazy river as well and he loved the waterfalls! He loved to look at them! There was also a big bucket above the little kids’ area that every so often would fill up and dump water out over the kids. Eli loved to watch the water come down on the kids also! He is going to be such a lil fish the older he gets! Noah and I also went on all the water slides which was a lot of fun! Grandma and Grandpa watched Eli while we did this! One was called the Tornado water slide and it is the best water slide you will ever go on! It takes you down this big hill and then whips you from side to side and pushes you out at the end! We had a blast- that is for sure! Not to mention it was so cute to see Eli in his swim gear and to see him out in the water too! :]

On Friday we all got up in the morning and went to this action park called Kalahari. There were different games and stuff there to play! It was a good time to be with the family and play different racing games, rock climbing, just about everything to be honest! All of us together got 2015 tickets we won from our games and I got Eli a blue monkey and teal fish with 1000 of the tickets, and Noah’s sister Lydia used the rest on what she wanted! Too fun :] Eli slept for awhile in there, but once he woke up he was so nosey to what was going on around because of all the noises from all the games. After awhile he actually wanted out of there so I walked outside with him and he was good to go!!! :] We then went back to the water park from there and then stayed at the resort the rest of the night, which was very nice to relax. We ordered pizza and just all did our own thing! I just can’t get over how good of a sport Eli was this whole trip! We even went outside for awhile today before we left and he did so good outside and in the water then too. I was so paranoid he would get sunburnt easy though so even though we put 50 spf baby sunscreen on him, I kept getting him out in and sitting in the shade with him too! I am just a paranoid person like that :]

Below is some pics of my sweet boy on our trip!!!! It was such a fun time and I loved to go, but I was also glad to get home in the end! Nothing meant bad by that- just was ready to get home! I love it that I was blessed with such a great baby boy. You watch- he will be a lil terror at the age of 2, or my next one will be the complete opposite hahaha. Noooo I have better spirits then thaaaat :] Eli was such a good boy though and I loved to see him enjoy himself so many times! And even though the beds were hard, he still slept amazing too! I can’t wait to take him on a trip with Noah and I in the future. I think a trip with the three of us will be so much fun too!!!! My little boy is one amazing blessing in my life that I love so so so so much! It is amazing how much love you can hold for your children. I absolutely love every second of it :]
