Here we go my friends :] I'm 8 weeks pregnant with lil peanut today and yes- there is already a baby bump! From what I hear- you show a lot faster your 2nd time preggo!! I keep tellin myself that but sometimes the phrase "you're gunna be as big as a barn" comes to my mind still ha :] I pray everything continues to go good with this pregnancy and for a healthy baby whether it is a boy or girl! Oct 2nd seems so far away, but I know it will be here before we know it :]
I go to the Dr for my 10 week appointment and to hear the heartbeat 3/5/10- can't wait!! Noah and Eli are comin along too... which is very exciting to me!!! These Dr appointments are soooo special to me!! Lil peanut has Mama feelin rough and puking some mornings... but other then that I have just been tired and it has not been a bit bad atttt all!!! Noah of course is a great help too- we are great buddies together!! By the time Eli wakes up, it all has pretty much passed and if it hasn't... I'm still able to get around and do everything for my lil man and the babysittin kiddos too- it has all worked out great! I'm so thankful to be hoooome so much... I LOVE it so much and to be with the babysittin kids and Eli- they are all so fun!!! Rylan says "I hope you have a sister for Eli" and Riley says "and if it is a girl you should name her Riley" :]:] Toooo cute!
In the meantime, Eli has been soooo much fun! Don't get me wrong, he always is- but it seems since he can walk he is soooo funny and caring and loves givin us hugs and awwww he is goin to be such a good big brother! He gets so excited and looks at me when you see a baby- melt my heart! We have decided if we have a boy, we are going to move Eli to the bigger bedroom and have the baby boy have Eli's nursery! If it is a girl- Eli will keep his room and the baby girl will get the other bedroom. We are puttin hardwood floor in the bedroom as well!!! I am totally excited for this!!
We are going to transition Eli to a toddler bed prolly 2 months or so before lil peanut is born and have the baby have Eli's crib! My Daddy made my twin size bed that has been at our house in the spare room since I have lived here with Noah so Eli is going to have that bed and we found a bed rail that is all but about 3 inches of the length of the bed- so it will work out so great!!!! I am so excited he gets to use my old bed too since my Dad made it for me :] We were going to move Eli to a big boy bed around this time whether baby 2 was on the way or not... he is already a bed hog and likes his space in his crib... so we know he will def be ready for his big boy bed by then!!! We found a sweet Cardinals bed set for him too... I will add a pic!!! I am soooo excited for all of this with Eli and for this lil peanut to be here!!! It is going to be so much fun with both of them!! I LOVE MY FAMILY SO SO SO MUCH!!!!! Sorry to go on and on my friends, just was excited to share these stories with you :]
We do have names picked out too that I would love to share with you... because we all know me and how I can't hide any secrets that are thiiiiis exciting :] The girl name we have picked out is Alysha Kathryn! It is pronounced just like Alicia Keys name but we are spelling it different as you see!!! We may also call her Aly too! We also picked out Kathryn from my sister Katie- her first name is Kathryn and I always said I would name my first girl after Katie and never want to break that! Her and I are so close and I couldn't ask for a better sister then her!!!
The boy name we have picked out is Zacary Brenden! Noah picked out this name and I absolutely LOVE it! Noah's brother's name is Zachariah and goes by Zach, and Noah wanted to name our baby after Zach if it is a boy. We will always call him Zacary though since Zach goes by Zach and again, spelled it different! I honestly asked Noah if we could spell it Zacary for Zac Brown Band hahaha :] Brenden is also Noah's best friend, Andy's, middle name!
