Noah and I went with our friends Andy and Melinda to Peoria last night and stayed all night at the Pere Marquette and had so much fun!!! It was SO hard for me to leave Eli... I cried and cried after we dropped him off at my parents house (he stayed there all night) and not to mention- it was the first "stay the night" experience for him and Noah and I! Will it ever get any easier leaving him and this lil peanut when he/she is here??? Not for this girl... not one bit. Maybe I am a huge sap- I dunno... it's just so hard for me to leave though! On the other hand- I loooove to have time with Noah too. I love him so much and NEVER would turn our time down! I will say- it was a success though. Of course it was harder on me then him, but he had a good time and was in GREAT hands!!! I had a ton of fun too and so did Noah. We went out together last week too for Valentine's Day and had a great time as well. It's a must that we need to continue to have nights out like this! We always have made sure of that and make sure we hang out every night when Eli goes to bed to have some time together too. Life can be crazy sometime (especially with Noah's crazy work hours) and it's very important for "us" time!!! At the same time- we love "family" time with the three of us too- so so important also! When Noah and I got to my parents to pick Eli up he kept smiling and waving at us and saying "gaga" (which is what he calls both Noah and I hahaha) It was too cute!
Eli was a very good boy for Grammy and Papa. He didn't sleep well at all- he had Grammy up with him from 2am to 5am yikes! BUT he is pretty particular about sleeping in HIS bed just like a lot of us are so he woke up confused!! He also now says "Papa" too and I love that so much!!! It's so cute :] SO glad this was a success for us and Eli- although we missed him so much and I was very anxious to get home to him when I woke u at 630am in the morning (why so early- I will never ever know) :] I'm proud to say it was such a great success annnnd went better then I thought it would! What can I say- I'm a worry wart ha! Thanks so much for the great time Andy and Melinda- Noah and I had SO much fun!!!!! (our room at the Pere Marquette was also seriously the size of a small apartment... living room, dining room, bar area, big bedroom, and a bathroom!) It was sweeeeet :]
