Let me just explain this trip in one word- AMAZING!!! We had soooo much fun together and it was the best! I am so glad we went and to hear Noah say "thanks babe- this is awesome and one of the best times I've had" melted my heart! He is such a wonderful man and a great great Daddy!!! It was only a small portion of what I can do for him for Father's Day!!! He deserves the absolute best and Eli, Zacary, and I love him soooooo much!!! <3
It was not a bad drive atttt all! We left Friday 6/18/10 at about 4pm and got there at 8pm! Eli slept half the way and did excellent in the car! He was cracking us up with his lil words and faces he was making! He's such a good boy!
The first night we took our stuff to our room (which was a beach view room that I was unaware of until we got there woot woot) and then took a family walk on the beach! It was the first time Eli stepped in the sand and stepped in the ocean and was one feeling I can't even explain how wonderful it felt! It was soooo precious and amazing... and he loved it! It was so cute to hear his "oooo's" and "ahhhh's" too! He's such a wonderful lil man!
We went and got some groceries for the weekend so it would be cheaper with eating lunch in the room and so we could spend our day in the pool and on the beach even more :] The pak n play got accidently moved out of the car- so we made a short run to Wal-Mart to get a cheap pak n play to take back haha so Eli would be able to get good sleep! He slept so good too and when he got up in the morning he was READY for the beach :] He loved looking out on the balcony with us at everything!
We spent theeeee entire day outside on Saturday! I did not apply any sunscreen (missssstake) and kept spraying Eli so much and kept a tank top and hat on him. I am always so paranoid he is going to burn and dooo not want that ever as I am sure any Mama will say!!!! He has his Mama's skin color- so he actually tans pretty easy! Poor Noah :/ I always feel so bad for him when he burns- he burns soooo easy and all day I kept asking if he had more sunscreen on and he kept saying yes as I watched him spray more. I worry about him too since he burns soooo easy! We played in the ocean and Eli loved the waves and would laugh and laugh! He also loved playing in the sand- but hated it when he had sand on his hands hahaha! He can't stand it when things get on his hands! It's so funny and cute!
We were also in the pool quite a bit too and that was so fun and felt soooo good! Eli loved to see the other kids too and was trying his best to get his whole face in water hahaha! He is such a lil dare devil sometimes! Eli is such a little fish and loves the water... I love that because I am the same exact way! Some friends told me we would absolutely cherish taking him to the beach and ocean so much for the first time and I can totally understand why they say that now! It was so stinkin precious and so much fun!!!! He wasn't scared one bit and loved when the waves would break... he'd laugh and laugh and then laugh when we would jump over them with him haha! I love my lil man so so so much :]
About 2:30pm he got real tired and wiped his eyes and bam- got salt water in them. It was so terrible I felt so bad for him and he cried and cried. I told Noah I was going to take him to the room and get the salt water out of his eyes in the bath tub and he said he would be up in a minute. The sad look on Eli's face tore my heart. He layed his lil head on my shoulder the whole way to the room with his eyes shut! When we got in the room he was able to open them better and we got in the bath tub where he cried and cried until I got all of it out! His lil eyes were a lil swollen... poor baby! I was nearly in tears with him... it hurt me so bad to see him in pain! Then after bath time I put a diaper on him and we cuddled on the bed and within 10 minutes- he was out! So him and I took a nap then Noah came in and fell asleep. BAM! The minute Noah woke up from his nap he was absolutely FRIED! I mean soooo red. He wouldn't approve for me to take picture of his burn though for this blog and fb hahaha! He was so burnt it made him sick to his stomach a bit! I was so worried about him, and he worried bout me all day burning- which I did too but I am a lot better now! Noah's burn is all better now too but he literally was as red as one of his light red shirts he brought with him! OUCH!!!!! Eli never burnt though- so that was good!
We went out to dinner that night and came back to the room to chill! Some photographer took our pics on the beach during the day too (where I look like white trash) but we got some anyway for a memory :] We went and got those pics too and then just took it easy! It still makes me smile to hear Eli see the ocean and see him want to go get in it. He loved seeing all the birds on the beach too- and the airplanes fly in the sky! It was so much fun and so fun to take him for the first time! It is one trip we will never ever forget :] We will definitely be going back when lil Zacary is old enough to go too :]
I put all of our pics from the weekend in a slide show since there are so many haha! I hope you enjoy them! Noah Bob I love you soooo much! I am so thankful for you and can't thank you enough for all you have done for Eli and I. You are the best hubby and daddy ever- thank you for always making things possible for our lil family and for always doing the best for us. We love you so so so much and would do anything in the world for you! I am so proud of you and everything you have done! You are one man that I will always look up to and that will always be my best friend for life. We have so many memories in our life that are so wonderful- and many more to come! ELI AND I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANY WORDS CAN SAY!!!!! <3
I also want to say Happy Father's Day to my Daddy! He is by far the best Daddy ever and I love him so much! Eli is so lucky to have a great Papa :] Thanks for all you do Dad- I look up to you in so many ways and we appreciate all you do for us! Brett- you are my second father and I love this! I feel I can talk to you about anything just like I can with my Dad! Thanks for all you do for us and for being so wonderful to us too. I am blessed with a great Daddy and Father-In-Law :] Even though we couldn't spend Father's Day with you (which was very hard for me)- we hope you had a great day and loved being able to talk with you! <3

This makes me REALLY want to go to the beach! And not someplace gross and dirty like Clinton Lake Beach, but like Florida!!! :)
