You weigh 27 lbs and are wearing a size 4 diaper. You are actually now more interested in wearing pull-ups than diapers which is a step to potty-training :] I still put a diaper on you at nap and bed time- but other then that it is mostly pull-ups during the day! You know when you have to poop to tell Daddy and I- but other then that we are working on the rest! We are taking it one step at a time and are in no rush at all... it's good you know what the potty is, that you know when you need to tell us, that you rip off your diaper and want a pull-up on instead, and are pretty dry when you wake up in the mornings. You even let us know if you accidently went. I ask and try to sit him on the potty every 30 minutes and he hasn't gone yet b/c he gets nervous and doesn't understand everything fully about it and wants "up up up" as he says but that's ok- we will get there and understand it more and more as he gets older and when he turns 2. For now I am satisfied at the steps we are at and very proud of you lil man :] I do now understand more why it is easier to potty train when kids are 2 and up though- sometimes I feel like it would be too much on such a lil child's plate to throw it at them all at once- that's why we take baby steps to understand it alll better as the time goes :]
You take one 2 hour nap in the afternoon from 1:00/1:30pm ish to 3:00/3:30pm ish. You also wear size 2T shirts and 24 month pants. You wear a size 8 in shoes. You have a great personality and are so funny and sweet! You love to make us smile, laugh, and blow kisses, give big hugs, and even say I love you :] MELT.A.HEART :]
Your eating is welllll... ok. Haha! You love snacks but don't like all your meals all that much at times. You always eat breakfast wonderful, and then pick around at lunch and dinner. I know this is a common kid thing to do so try not to worry! Some days you don't want much- while other days you inhale hahaha! You really love all kinds of fruits with bananas being your fave, crackers, cookies, and cheese balls, waffles, cereal, poptarts, chicken nuggets, and hot dogs/corn dogs. Ha :]
You still love watching Elmo, Toy Story, and Mickey Mouse. You have been big into Cars lately too and the Little Bear show on Nickelodeon :] We also love watching Praise Baby every morning with baby brother. You love to sing and dance to Praise Baby as well as any other music too. You love to play a fake guitar, play your drums, and even your toy piano. You are big time into music and it is so cute :] Your favorite songs to sing are: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Elmo's Song, Hotdog Song on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and a lot of country songs haha! It's so darn precious :]
You are sleeping through the night since you have at 3 months old :] You go to bed at 9pm and wake up between 8:00/8:30am. You love your sleep and never ever fight to go to bed at night. I read you a story, (which I love it that you love books and to listen to the story while I read it to you now), tuck you into bed, and turn your Woody night light on and you give me kisses and say ni-night and go to sleep without any problems! You do fight some naps but that is typical for a lil man... and I can't say I blame you- we have so much fun I'd rather you not nap too :] However, if you don't have a nap you have a sad sad make Mama cry too meltdown... so we nap so we feel much better by the end of the day and b/c it is fair for you to get your nap in anyway :]
You love to play with race cars, tractors, ANYTHING toy story, and anything sports sports sports. You are rather obsessed with playing with footballs, watching football, baseball,, basketball, etc. It is such a cute sight to see!!!! You are gunna be big into sports as you get older and I love that! You love to wrestle with Daddy and play basketball with him too :] You love for him to play the drums, you swing a bat, and for me to sing "take me out to the ball game" all at once ha and you are now into chasing me around the house and grabbing my legs and tickling me. I am so darn ticklish so laugh histerically and the funny thing is- you are just as ticklish as me! You love to have someone with you at all times to play with you and never want to play or be alone and I love that too! You want Mama or Dada or both of us to be in your room with you as you play and I cherish those moments soooo much! You love to be in your room and play and this Mama likes to be there right beside you having the same fun with baby brother with us too! Baby brother loves to be in your room too- it's so cute how he gets to kickin and movin his arms when we are in there haha! You 2 are already 2 peas in a pod and it makes this Mama's heart very happy :]
You love to sleep with your lil pillow and blankey. You love to be around Mommy, Daddy, and baby brother. You are a very happy boy all the time. You absolutely adore your baby brother and to be with him. Zacary even looks at you and smiles now- it makes me tear up! You love to play with him even though sometimes you can get a lil rough with him on accident since you have no idea you are being rough :] You both are going to be soooo close and it makes me so so happy to know that! You love brother to be in your room too and want to include him in everything. You love to help him with putting his binky in, giving him toys, and even bringing Mama his burp rag, diapers, and bottles too! You are a great big brother by far and it is so stinkin precious! You are talking more and more and sometimes it is hard to understand what you are saying but it amazes me how fast and much you learn- you are very smart! Your new thing to say is "no" hahaha but not in a bad way! Example: "Eli do you want a snack?" Eli "No no no!" Hahaha! It's so funny how you are at the age where you can tell us no and yes to questions! :]
You are starting to try to talk in sentences too and it is so cute! I understand totally what you are trying to say when you do this too. The other day he saw a squirrel outside and said "Mama squirrel walk!" Right then and there I knew he was trying to tell me that we see squirrels on our walks! Absolutely right lil man- so so so smart :] He also says "Mama butterfly" and I will say "that's right buddy" and he says "in the sky" and points up! Yes that's right lil man- butterflies fly in the sky! He is soooo smart and it makes me so so so proud! He catches on so fast and it's so good! :] Either that or I am just a good teacher hahahaha! :]
You, Mommy and Brother are now included in going to story time/craft time some Tuesday mornings, going to playgroup with all the other kids 2 and under on Wednesday mornings, and then sometime during the week we also meet up with a good friend Tiffani I met down here that has 3 girls (Haylee4, Carli2, Rylie7mo). They are such good girls and doing all this in the week is so good for you to be with other kids too and good for Zacary also! You always want Mama to be there with you still and I never ever will leave you buddy but it's so sweet!! You love to play with the kids all the time and bring every lil thing to me to show me what you found! It's so adorable- you even try to share the toys with brother too :]
We are also getting set up with a group called Puddle Jumpers in March of 2011. This program is completely free like the other stuff we do is and it is an hour and a half on Tuesday mornings and you take your kids between 2 and 3 (even tho Zacary can go with us too since he's so young) and you go to different rooms. One is a game room, one is a painting room, craft room, play room, etc and the kids explore each room at their pace! I am so excited to start this and think he will like it so so so much!!!! I can't wait to go :]
I enjoy doing every single thing with you and Zacary every single day lil man! You 2 are my lil hero's and it is amazing to me to spend all the time in the world with you both and have so much fun together and watch you grow and learn. We find such fun things to do every single week that are completely free but the best times ever for both the boys! Even if it is a day at home we make fun out of it and just love it! I love you so much lil man and thank you so much for doing what you do for your Mama. I sit here with tears in my eyes thinking about how much you and your brother do for me! You make my heart happy, you are both so sweet, and you are both mine forever! I am so blessed to have the hubby and kids that I do and don't know how I ever go so lucky! I never dreamed to live this wonderful life I have... and thank God for it every single day! I am soooo blessed in so many ways- and so so so happy in my life. If it wasn't for Daddy I'd never be where I am today- and if it wasn't for you and Zacary I wouldn't be the Mommy I am today! I will do absolutely everything in the world for you, Daddy, and Zacary and will always love you all so much! I love my relationship with each of you... and the fact that you are almost 2, brother is almost 2 months old- and you are both my best lil pals <3 The ways we laugh, smile, have fun, know what to do through wrongs and rights, every single moment I have shared with you will forever be with me and there are many more to come! I hope our relationship can be this strong forever... even when I am 40 and you are 17! Every age of our lives- I hope we are always close. I pray for this with you and brother both... I always wunna be close with my lil babies and pray that it stays that way <3 Mommy loves you so much!!!! Happy 22 months lil man- thanks for always being the great baby you are and for making your Mama so darn happy :] I am very proud of you!
