First of all- I can't even believe he is already 2 months old!!! Time is already flyyying by soooo fast! He is such a good lil baby and I just love him to pieces :] He has been sleeping all night since he has been 4 weeks old, and is also on a good nap schedule too. He goes to sleep for the night (usually) around 9:00pm and wakes up around 7:30am in the morning! Sometimes he may wake up earlier than that- but it's just b/c he wants to be held b/c the minute I pick him up and snuggle him, he goes right back to sleep!! It amazes me he is almost 2 months old and he can sleep 10.5 hours each night already! I do give him a little bit of cereal in his bottles some nights before bed- and then the bath always makes him fall asleep quick too! Such a good good lil baby!!!! :]
He goes to sleep for nap around 1pm everyday and sleeps until 4pm. It is so weird that he just has the same nap schedule as Eli on his own! Eli only sleeps 2 hours- but it is so weird how Zacary knows at 1pm ish that it is time for him to take a nap too! I told myself that if he sleeps one 3 hour nap a day like that- I am good with that for sure- Eli and I love to have him in on our fun all day and if I ever have errnads to run it's in the morning ish anyway so it works out perfect! Instead of taking 2 short naps- he takes one big nap and is in the best mood ever always! Works for me :]
Zacary is still in our room in the bassinet beside me- and I couldn't even tell you when he will move out! I say this because he has been choking bad lately and has started to spit up so much all of a sudden. Out of no where he will get to coughing so hard and I grab him instantly and start rubbing/tapping his back and sometimes he spits up, but sometimes it is just choking. It just scares me so so much so him being beside me in his bassinet in our room still makes me feel much better! I am sleeping him with a sleep positioner and on his side only- that way if he were to spit up he will not choke then as well.
We went through a scary deal with him last weekend. I was giving him a bath and when I went to wash his shampoo out, he started choking and gasping for air. His face started to turn a purple color and I freaked! I blew in his face, hit his back, and he came out of it after puking up a ton of formula. From what I understand- he had choked on his spit up coming up and it made him stop breathing for like 5 seconds but it was a very loooong 5 seconds... poor baby!!! This never has happened again tho thank goodness (and cross your fingers). This Mama did not sleep well that night- I was constantly checking on him. I have talked to the Dr about this and it's a start of reflux. He goes to the Dr next Monday for his 2 month check up and to get this deal checked out more! He has had belly aches and gas problems with this too- which the Dr says is common with reflux. I have changed his formula to Enfamil ProSobee for Sensitive Bellies and it also helps with spitting up and gas. And so far my friends- this has worked so great and helped him out a ton!!! He hasn't spit up like at all unless it's a little dribble. I am hoping so much it stays this way for my poor lil guy. It breaks my heart to see him in pain from a belly ache and spitting up... so so sad. BUT so glad this change of formula is helping already!
Zacary is wearing size 3-6 month clothes and is a long lil fella! I will find out next Monday what he weighs and how long he is!!!! I am anxious to know! He eats about seven 4 oz bottles of formula every day. He looks a lot like Eli for sure and somedays looks just like Noah! The one thing that makes Eli and Zacary look different is their eye shape! He is smiling, beginning to coo, and he moves his feet and hands like crazy (esp when he is excited!) He has the prettiest brown eyes like big brother and is just a plain sweetheart! He now loves the bath so much- he lays on his bath seat like it is the most relaxing thing ever! His cry is very very loud for such a lil guy- but it is just b/c he really means business when he is hungry :] He is in size 1 diapers and his head is now too big for about all of his stocking hats haha!
He makes many many faces that remind me just of Eli and seems to have the personality of Eli too! Both very laid back, sweetest thing ever, and very very loving, and funny! Zacary watches Eli so much already and it is so precious. He loves to smile at him too :] Sweetest thing ever to see my 2 boys so close already! He is definitely a baby that loves to snuggle which I love so much! Everynight he goes to sleep by me cuddling with him- so sweet! His lil eyes and face light up when he sees me, Noah, and Eli and it is so precious! Zacary also loves to look at lights (esp the Christmas tree lights), and the TV! He watches just about every single thing he can see and is very alert! He now loves to have us sit him up and also is sitting very good in his Bumbo seat! His number one fave thing of his "toys" so far is his baby swing- he loves it!!!!
I love you so much Zacary Brenden- you and your big brother are so awesome and wonderful! I love being a Mommy and the reason for that is not only b/c it's so much fun and natural to me, but b/c I have the best lil boys ever that are the sweetest lil things to me! You make me very proud and bring out the best of me even more than I could imagine! You make me smile, laugh, and just make my day every single day. I love hanging out with you and your big brother every single day whether it is us on the couch watching a movie, playing outside, being lazy, playing in big brother's room, or even running errands! I am so thankful I never have to leave you and can stay home with you and big brother forever!!! Thanks for always making this Mama happy and always know I love you and that I am here for you through absolutely every single thing in life! I LOVE YOU :] Happy 2 months lil guy- now please stop growing so fast!!!! :]
PS- I found a lil boy to babysit part-time Mon thru Thurs only 2 weeks every month starting in January!!! I meet him and his Mama tomorrow with my boys! I am excited- it will be a fun time! He is all I am going to babysit for now!! :]
