First thing is first- Benny is HOME!!! It is a miracle how it worked out for us to find him!!! I made these posters with Benny's picture and info on them at: www.petamberalert.com and paid $30 and some odd cents to have 25 posters made and to have them delivered here in Newnan on how he was lost! I got a call from the company on Thursday Oct 28th saying my posters were made and would be out to businesses at the latest by Monday November 1st. I honestly was beginning to tell myself Benny was gone when Monday the 1st I got 2 calls from 2 different Vets saying they received the poster I made and a person had called in that sounded like she had a dog that fit Benny's discription! I then had the girl who found Benny call me saying she found him the day he was missing wondering in our subdivision and looking lost. She decided to take him with her until his owner found him! She happens to be a dog groomer in her home so she got the fax of his info with his pic and her exact words she said was "Holy s*it this is their dog I have!" So she was an honest gal and called me and brought Benny home to us!!!! He was so so so so happy to see us and was jumpin on all of us (but Zacary) and hasn't even tried to leave the yard now! He has been a very good dog and no more stubborn tricks on us! I am soooo thankful he is home and think it is such a miracle!!!! Thank you so much to the girl who was honest about having him- bless her heart and I love honest people so much!!! So glad he was safe the whole time and is now home to us forever again- woooo hooo we love you Benny <3
So what else is new in the Zehr house?? Everything is going great! The boys are both doing so so wonderful and growing like weeds- it makes this Mama very very sad! Eli will be 2 in almost 2 months (big tears) and Zacary is almost 2 months. Excuse me!?!? Time flies too fast but I definitely cherish every single bit of time with them every single day and love to be home with them so so so so much! Not to mention- they will always always be my lil babies no matter how old they are! Eli is talking more and more and told me "I love you" back to me the other day when I put him down for nap and it just melted my heart and made me tear up!!! He still says I love you too and is so sweet about it~! It is seriously one of the sweetest things to ever hear! He is such a wonderful boy and is always so darn sweet all the time- giving kisses, hugs, just to hear him say Mama makes my heart so happy!!! Zacary is now smiling as well and it is so adorable! I love to see his sweet lil face lookin back at me with a big smile on it- it's so stinkin sweet! He is such a great baby just like Eli and is sleeping all night still!!! I love to cuddle with him and just talk away to him and look into his sweet face while I am talking- he's so awesome! I just love the snot out of those 2 lil boys- they are my world! I also tried Zacary in the bumbo seat the other day just to see if he liked it and he does soooo good with holding his head up and he was just smiling away! It was so so cute :] Just love them and everything with being a Mommy!!!!! <3
Noah and I are also doing great! Noah is working long hours every so often but it is starting to get better (knock on wood). There for awhile it seemed we never saw him and got stressful between Noah and I b/c we missed each other so much. But things are fine and always will be- I just love him tons! He is the best hubby ever! We are actually at a hotel this weekend bc of course our heat is not working and it was 55 in our house! We had a very relaxing and fun time together as a family in the hotel tho- just took it easy, relaxed, had the best time together, and went out for dinner! The heat is going to be fixed tomorrow and thankfully the cost is covered by warranty!!!!! I believe this all definitely happened for a reason- we needed the time together as the 4 of us and it was so so so wonderful <3
I started Eli on the big boy potty last Mon and it is going pretty good! We are taking slow steps to get to the big last step of potty training and so far, so good. I am being very patient through this all which is never hard for me to do anyway! He is just a lil boy and is trying the best he can! He understands to tell me when he has to potty and we go to the toilet. He is getting that concept down so far and doing good with it! If he happens to go pee or poop in his pull-up he gets upset and I assure him it is okay and he is gunna be alright for sure and Mommy will always make sure of that! I just explain to try and tell Mommy fast that he has to go and we will run to the potty! I take him to the potty ever 30 min or so as well and sit him up there to help him out too- he loves it and is doing great so far! We will get there- I have faith in that lil man for sure! I also bought reward stickers and popsicles. So when he does go on potty he will get a sticker and a popsicle! This will encourage him and motivate him to keep up the good big boy potty work :] I am so proud of him- he is such a great lil boy!!! So proud to be my Eli and Zacary's Mama for sure and always will be!
For Halloween this year we went trick or treating 3 times hahaha! On Friday Oct 29th the 4 of us went downtown Newnan and the shops handed out candy to all the kids! It was soooo much fun (Thanks Laura for lookin it up for me haha) :] Eli wouldn't say trick or treat haha but he did say thank you and then told every single person bye bye! Haha it was so cute! Eli was Woody for Halloween this year per his requet and Zacary was a Baby Elmo :] They both looked so cute! Then on Saturday we went to the mall that evening and the shops gave out candy! Lil Miss Jasmine Marie went with us too and she was a cute pink cat! It was so much fun and a good time- Eli loved all the candy too and once again told all the people thank you and bye bye haha! He makes me laugh so much! Him and I also rode on a mini train at the mall too and he loved that! The whole time we did this Zacary slept!!! I couldn't believe he slept that long- what a tired lil guy! BUT I did dress him up in his lil Baby Elmo costume again (pictures of both boys and Jasmine will be below) :] Then on Sunday (the actual day of Halloween ha) we just went to a few houses! Noah stayed in the car with Zacary bc he didn't even wunna come as it was ha and I took Eli around to houses and we had a good ole time and got more candy haha! I loved Halloween!!! Eli is at a great age for it and then I got to see my cute lil baby Zacary in a costume too and my niece also!!! So much fun :]
While Jasmine was here we also did pics of the grandkids b/c Siah does not no where he will be stationed yet and when so we figured while the 3 of them were together it would be a good idea to do! Jasmine is getting so big and is the sweetest lil girl! She will be 8mo on the 10th of Nov and is crawling and a very busy body! Haha! She is sooo cute and so loveable- I love my lil niece! I love shopping for her too!!! I always find her cute cute outfits- she is such a good girl and so stinkin precious! The pics turned out great too and I will attach them to the bottom of this post!!! I so can't wait til we go to IL for Turkey Day (we will be in IL late Weds the 24th of Nov thru lunch time the 28th of Nov) and Laura is taking fam pics and pics of the boys- I soooo can't wait eeeeek!!!!!! Seeing Eli and Zacary get pics together makes me tear up for them b/c they are already best friends!!!! I love watching them together it is so so cute and Eli is such a good big brother- he brings me Zacary's binky and helps me by getting diapers and burp rags- just so sweet and so good about it and with his lil bro! I love it they are so close in age and will forever be best friends and have each other in their lives... how sweet!!! Life is wonderful- love it so much and wouldn't be the person I am ever without them and my awesome hubby!!!
Well the weekend sure came fast my goodness! I had a blast with seein my hubby so much this weekend- it felt like it had been so long since we all had hung out together as a family of 4 since he has been workin so much! Work is so so busy for him and it will calm down for sure but it was just sooooo nice to be with him and my boys this weekend! I love them and love hangin out with them ALWAYS! I get so stinkin excited everytime Noah gets home from work everyday to see him and all just like I always got excited to see him when I dated him. The love for my hubby will always always be so strong... I love love love the life we have together and the 2 sweet boys we have too- absolutely wonderful!!!!
I promise I will stay updated better this week and on- by golly I was having the worst withdraws from this blog for sure hahahaha!!!! :] I hope your week is wonderful!!!!!! :]
