*** Santa Visit #1 ***

We went to a Christmas party and to see Santa tonight with the Mom's Club that I go to every week with the boys! It was a good time and Noah was able to meet us there as well. Eli had a good time playin with the kids and all of a sudden I saw Santa walking up to the door. When he got to the door to open it and come in I said "Eli, look who is here" and he looked at the door and faaaareaked out like no other! He screamed real loud and bawled and was shaking he was so scared! He ran to me and did not want put down whatsoever! I felt absolutely terrible for him. I think back to the days when I was TERRIFIED of Santa myself and yup- that's where Eli gets it! I would never sit on his lap no matter how hard my Dad tried- it was so sad! We did not make Eli sit on his lap at all of course- he didn't mind talking to Santa while we held him and all, but he had no part in Santa touching him!! Santa also read the kids a book and Eli did just fine sitting on my lap and listening to the book- he just didn't want anything to do with being close to him or being touched by him my poor lil man!! Santa also gave Eli his bells and told him he could keep them until we went to leave and asked if he would bring them back to him. Eli said he would! So before we left, he took them to Santa with Noah, Zacary, and me :] It was so sweet!!! Zacary of course has no idea who the man is, so he sat on his lap :] It was so stinkin cute! I was actually surprised Eli wanted Zacary on his lap, but instead he laughed and kept saying "brother" and pointing to him haha too cute! I have a feeling next year we will just have a pic of Santa with no lil boys on his lap haha! Either that orrrrr a pic of Santa with the 4 of us on his lap :] He looked like a real Santa!!!! He was very chipper and talkative though so I didn't sit on his lap- I felt too awkward. I now regret that though bc Eli would have sat on my lap with him! SO now I am maybe going to take the boys to the mall here in Newnan and get a pic of Zacary on his lap and then me on his lap with Eli on my lap!! That way I have a pic of both boys on his lap this year :] Here is the adorable pic of Zacary on his lap below... so stinkin precious!! It turned out to be a good pic for sure!! I love my lil babies soooooo much :] Santa, I think you need to have less facial hair and kids won't be so scared of you haha!!! I have never seen Eli so scared in my life- it broke my heart and makes me sad. Good thing he only comes around one time a year ;]
