*** The Word NO ***

I am sure you all have heard it, right? Have you heard it from your toddler too? That's what Noah and I have been hearing lately hahaha! It's so funnnnnny how a toddler can learn to use the word NO so easy! If you say to Eli, "Let's change your diaper buddys" he says "NOOOOOoooOOOoooo" and runs to try and get away while laughing ha! Then when you "run" for him and "catch" him he says "NO NO NO NO NO NO NOOOOOO" as you take him to change his diaper. He does this also when you go to change him out of his PJ's every morning and into his outfit for the day!! Honestly it makes me laugh inside... I remember the days of using the word NO as well. It's just the age he is at, no biggie. I mean it could be worse! If he does say NO when he shouldn't be... example: "Eli let's eat dinner!" Eli- "NO!" Then whenever I say "awww buddys you don't want to say that" his sweet looks at you and says "sowwy" and then he runs to give me a hug or kiss :] That right there makes up for it all. It's soooo funny what your kids learn- but then the sweet things like that make up for it all, don't you say? I do :] I will say it is very hard for me to discipline (spankings of any sort on the hand or rear, etc) but I make sure he knows his rights from wrongs and always will. This is what is for the best of my child, and for me too. So far- he has not been hard at all to teach right from wrong and is so darn sweet! He makes my days in the smallest ways... just love it!!!!!

Zacary and Eli are beginning to interact with each other evvvvven more. All of a sudden Zacary is even more alert and is smiling so much and watching Eli's every step! Eli just loves it and laughs and smiles at him so much! We had to take Zacary to the Dr on Tues b/c he has been getting real bad tummy aches! I switched his formula to a soy formula about a month ago and was giving him gas drops and that was helping so much, but he started to have small belly aches at times in the day and was miserable. Thankfully I got him back into the Dr!!! I say this bc the Dr wants me to keep him on the same soy formula but gave us a stronger prescription meds for him to give him twice a day. It is working WONDERS now (knock on wood!) He is so happy all day long and still spits up a bit (more than others at times and I call him a puking machine some days haha) but no belly aches wooooooooot :] Dr said it is just normal for him to spit up, I mean it is never projectile puke... but sometimes he just spits up quite a bit but that's normal for babies to go through at times. It broke my heart to see him soooo sad :[ How terrible to think of how much pain he was in- I am so glad I got this situation taken care of asap! He is such a sweet baby- and is now gripping onto small toys and has discovered his hands too haha! It's so cute and when he grips on to his small toys Eli claps his hands for him and says "brother brother" :] My 2 lil boys melt.my.heart :]
