Our day started out the four of us in our bedroom while Eli took a birthday bath haha and then opened some gifts that Mommy Daddy and Zacary got him! :]:] When I told Eli happy birthday and that he got to open gifts and eat cake etc he said "SANTA HO HO HO" hahahahaha! It was so funny :] It's not Christmas again yet lil man haha too precious! He had so much fun opening his gifts and got a Mack semi from us from the movie Cars, an Elmo bike helmet (and when he opened it he yelled BIKE haha and didn't even know he got one from us yet) :] ... We then surprised Eli by taking him downstairs to see we also got him a BIKE!!! He was beyooooond excited about this bike and just loves it so so soooo much! It was a big hit for sure- I am so glad we got it for him :]
Eli also opened some gifts that Grammy and Papa sent in the mail and also Grams, our friend Deanna, and our wonderful friends the Malones!!! He loves all the gifts so so much :] We then all went to McDonalds playland and had some fun playing and eating lunch and I invited the playgroup kids to come along and join us- they all had so much fun!!! I even went through the playland with him haha and went down the slide with him :] Uncle Zach did too and this was so funny! We met some awesome friends down here in Newnan (the Phennegers) and Mike and Tiffani (Mike works at Cat and Tiffani stays at home with her girls) have 3 girls- Haylee (4), Carli (2.5), and Rylie (9 months). - Eli loves these girls haha and he was holding Carli's hand (who is 5 mo older than him) and it was so so soooo cute! They are great friends- we just love their cute family and always say Eli and Carli will get married someday ha!!! He always chases them around and everything hahaha! It's too cute!
Eli was very tuckered out on the way back home from McDonalds and fell asleep on the way home and took a 2.5 hour nap!!! What a sleepy boy- but it was his birthday so he could do what he wanted to hahaha! We then went out to dinner to Stake n Shake for his birthday and also had some cake!!! It was so funny to watch him with his cake! He picked out a Cars cake when him, Zacary, and I were looking through the book of what cake he wanted! He LOVED it and it came with a Mater and Lightning McQueen cars on the cake that he loves to play with! We had such a fun fun fuuuun day and it was a perfect day for his 2nd birthday for sure :] I am so glad I planned everything out the way I did- it was perfect and so much fun to watch him all day! He is such a sweetheart and a great lil boy! He looked at me at dinner and told me "thank you" for everything from the day! It melted my heart and brought tears to my eyes- what a sweetie!!! I just can not believe my lil man is 2 years old- I don't want him to grow up so fast! :[ I just love him so darn much and I love love love being a Mommy to my 2 great and precious lil boys <3
Elijah Andrew- you make me smile in so many ways and it makes me and my heart so so sooooo happy! You are such a sweet boy full of love and smiles and are always so happy! I will never forget the day I found out I was pregnant with you and how I surprised Daddy and how extremely excited we were to meet you and just planning everything for you! You are my lil hero and one of the best things that has ever happened to me! You make me so so sooooo happy and I enjoy seeing your sweet face every single day when you wake up and say "Mamaaaaa" as I walk into your room! Even though you are my son- you are a great great greeeeat friend to me and always will be. I pray every single day that the love we have for each other now and with as close as we are now is how our friendship is our entire lives. I will always do anything in the world for you and I hope you always know how much love I have for you!!!
I remember seeing your sweet face for the first time- and that moment will never ever go away! You bring me so much joy, peace, and love in my life! You and your baby brother both do and I am so thankful to be able to stay home with both of you every single day and spend all the time in the world with you. I cherish every single moment with both of you and will always always love the 2 of you so much and do anything for you boys! <3>
You love to include your brother in everything when you play and love to give him hugs and kisses! You love your baby brother so much and are so good about everything with him! You don't always like to share your new toys with him, but you are good about bringing his new rattles and baby toys to him and it is adorable! You love giving hugs, kisses, and even saying I love you which melts my heart and makes me so darn happy and smile so much!!! You do not like to get dressed and have your diaper changed b/c you are having too much fun playing :] You love to go to playgroup with Mommy and Zacary and you also love going to the library every week too! We always get books and some DVD's!! You love having stories read to you every single day before nap and bed time and you even want me to lay in your bed at times too- which is absolutely adorable!
You are a very sweet sweet boy always full of love, laughs, and smiles! The words you say the best are: Mama (and you even call me Mommy at times too- so cute), Dada, Brother, Zach, Papa, No, Benny, Belle, Binky, Up, Big, Mater, Mickey, Elmo, uh huh, Emmy, Kt, Michael, dog, all animal noises and different animals, and that is about all I can think of for now haha! You're starting to sound more clear as you grow of course, but those words above are the best you can understand!!! You know all the different animals and what noises they make, you can count to 3, you know your colors so so good- when I ask what color Elmo is, Big Bird is, Cookie Monster is, etc he knows and points to the right color! He is now saying the colors out loud too- sometimes he gets confused with which colors are which buuuut that is expected- he is only 2 and will get better as he grows!! He knows his blues, reds, and purples very well though! SO proud of you lil man!!!! :] I will give myself credit for being such a good teacher too hahaha!
He is very good with shapes too and knows what shape is what- sooooo awesome lil man- makes me so so proud of you! Eli still loves to play in his room so much with Mommy and brother during the day! I seriously bring bottles up, formula, everything- and we are upstairs all day long if we are home all day :] It is so much fun and I definitely soak these days up with my boys!!! They won't want Mommy and Daddy playing with them in their rooms forever! Eli is still a wonderful helper and gets so proud to help me out with things :] It is so cute!!! His baby brother and him are great friends and it is so much fun to watch them grow and play together!!! It is the best thing ever having 2 lil boys so close in age and so close to each other already!!! <3>
He is starting to fight taking naps and going to bed since he is older now but once he does go to bed with his pillows and blanket and binky and after I read him a story he is good to go!!! He is ready to sleep for awhile and never gets out of bed until he wakes up- such a good good boy!!!! You also love to play catch and hit plastic baseballs with a bat- sometimes you get too rough with it but I just keep telling myself you are a pure boy hahaha! You love listening to music, dancing (that look just like Daddy's dance moves ha), and play the drums and guitar!! You also play "football" with Daddy every night- you put the football helmet on that Uncle Zach got you and "tackle" Daddy hahaha it's sooo cute to watch and adorable! I am just glad he never tries to "tackle" me- he knows I am a girl and that isn't what girls do- instead he is just always a sweetheart to me- it melts my heart so much how sweet he is and how much love he shows me everyday- I am so truly blessed!!!
Daddy and I talk about you 2 boys every single day and night! We are so thankful and blessed for 2 sweet lil boys and love looking back to our great times with you 2 and can't wait to see what the future brings for our lil family too <3>
