I put some photographer work together today. Nothing to brag about at all, but with my new camera I decided I would just try to take pics of my boys as they grow- unless we want family pics ha! I am not that talented! I think the pics turned out pretty good too- very cute! I of course have them on FB already and will also post some to the ole blog as well :] The boys did excellent with the pics too. I had to wait awhile to get more pics of Zacary then I had of Eli b/c Zacary was kinda fussing b/c he kept spitting up. SO we took a break for awhile and then he was good to go once his spitting up stopped and we went back to work on Zacary pics :] It was so much fun! I had to change Zacary quite a bit though b/c he kept spitting up on himself.. poor guy spits up so much sometimes! No wonder he is always hungry the poor baby!
Nothing too new in the Zehr house. Zacary is actually doing better with his tummy issues. He barely ever has to have his tummy meds! WOO FREAKIN HOO! So so awesome! He sure was going through a rough time for sure and it broke my heart. He is doing wonderful though and has been a wonderful lil trooper.
We are getting things ready for Eli's 2nd Birthday (oh.my.goodness- so bittersweet to me). We got him a little bike his size, nd elmo helmet and knee/elbow pads, then a Mack semi truck from Cars, and Mater's Tall Tales DVD. He is gunna be so darn excited to see all this!!! He is beyond obsessed with bikes- so we are going to leave the bike in the living room Sat night when we go to bed so he can see it first thing in the morning when he gets up! I am also going to decorate the kitchen in Elmo decorations and sports decorations too! I ordered a CARS cake b/c that is what Eli wanted!! When I asked him what cake he wanted when we were lookin through the different kinds he said CAAAAARS CACHOW ha! So we chose that! He also picked out the Elmo/sports decorations too- so stinkin cute! I of coure have a cute bday shirt for him to wear too! It's gunna be a fun fun day! My brother-in-law Zach is coming late Fri night til Sun afternoon to visit as well, and so is my sister and her boyfriend!!! On his birthday we are also taking him to McDonalds to eat lunch and play in the playland with our friends' 3 lil girls and some of the playgroup kids! We then will come home in the afternoon sometime for possibly a nap and then hang out and take Uncle Zach to the airport and go out to dinner for his birthday! Such a fun fun fun day- I am excited for Eli :] I just can't believe he is gunna be 2- just seems like he was born and now he is a grown up looking toddler with a baby brother! How crazy- time sure flies! I have 2 great, healthy, and awesome lil babies though- I love them so much!
We got a big whopping 1 inch of snow down here in GA and these crazy southerners don't believe in snow plows and salt trucks so the roads are icccccy. CAT called off work Sunday before it even started snowing and school was cancelled Mon, today, and is tomorrow too! Insane and so hilarious! These southerners wouldn't know what to do if they lived in IL!!!! Makes me laugh so much! The governor also called for a State of Emergency- make me peeeee my pants ha!
Noah is doing good- working away and coming home to spend the rest of the day with us. It's wonderful! He is such a good hubby and Daddy- I love just laying in bed at night talking about random things before we go to sleep. It reminds me of the days when we first started dating- but almost 7 years later!!! How crazy that we have been together that long! I just love him tons and love thinkin back to all our memories we have tohether and also love how much closer him and I have become living in GA and with how much closer our whole lil family is in general down here. We do miss family and friends of course- but what makes it even more special with missing them is when we see them! We cherish the times we have together so so so much and appreciate each other every step of the way- it's a great feeling! Noah, the boys, and I also love the freedom and times the 4 of us spend together as a family and the love of coure! I just love my lil family so much!!!!!! I can't say it enough :] It is always a great feeling knowing I keep in touch with a lot of family and friends almost every single day too- means so so so much to me and their friendships to me are sooooo amazing and awesome!
I start babysitting a lil boy Jan 28th! I am babysitting him part-time!! I will babysit him anywhere from 6-8 days a month right now but his Mom plans to pick up hours the longer she works to where I will babysit him more as he grows! I just figured I would do her a favor for sure and just bring in some extra cash too! I mean I am home, may as well babysit him, esp if it is part-time and he can be friend with my boys :] It will for sure be a good time!
Oh and did I mention I am going to be an aunt again? I am not sure if I mentioned that or not but I am haha! My brother-in-law Josiah and his wife Marlana are expecting again! Jasmine is 10 months old today and Marlana is due July 15th with baby 2! I am excited to be an aunt again!!! Josiah also found out today that he is getting stationed in Fort Bragg, NC for the Army so him, Marlana, and Jasmine will be living down there very soon! It is a 7 hour drive from our house sooooo we will definitely be making a trip to see them when the baby is born :]
I also meant to do a post on our Christmas. We had a great time for sure other then sitting in the airport for 8 hours to wait on our flight! I knew my Mom would kill me if we didn't make it home for the holidays- so we waited that long! The boy were super good other wise I wouldn't have put them through it attttt all! Noah and I took turns taking Eli on walks and there was a big fish window he loved so that was fun and we also got to eat dinner at the Chili's in the airport- YUM my fave!!! It was a long day of sitting in an airport, Zacary did great too- only cried when he was hungry! People complimented me on how good the boys were- I was so so so proud of them!!!!! That is one thing we did then, but I will never ever ever do that again! Next time, in Noah's words- we will head back home!! Love to be with my family and friends for the holidays though- can't pass that up ever! I had a great time for sure! We had Christmas at my rents' house, my Grams', and then Noah's rents' house too and we also went to the Malone's to meet Lane and do an exchange with gifts there too- it was such a wonderful time!! Eli was so much fun to watch of course too- but by the end of the night on Christmas night I was opening gift for him b/c he was so tired and didn't want to open anymore- awwww!!! Loved the holiday season and being with family and friends for sure! AND of course being with my lil family too- and even though we were stuck in the airport forever on Christmas Eve atleast we got to spend it together the 4 of us- couldn't ask for anything better <3
