*** OH Blog how I have MISSED You ***

So it has been quite some time since I have posted anything on here- how awful!!! I keep telling myself everyday that I need to take time and write something and then end up too busy. That happens with 2 kids under 2 :] Even though my Mr Eli is going to be 2 oh so soon- bittersweet.

What's been going on in the Zehr house?

All 4 of us are FINALLY healthy! There was a total of 9 consecutive days that we had sicknesses in our house. Noah got a touch of the flu on Dec 28th which was also the day we were leaving IL to head back to GA-yuck and how awful for him, I felt so bad for him! :[ Luckily he was feeling much better by the time it was time to leave though! That same day I had to call the boys' Dr from my rents house b/c Zacary had a terrrrrrible cough and watery eyes all of a sudden so I wanted to get him in asap. So we took him in Weds the 29th which was also the day after we got home from IL and found that one of our luggage bags were lost! GUH! (but they found it yay and we got it back already) Can I also mention we sat in the airport for EIGHT hours on Christmas Eve too... I will get to that story later though my friends!! But anyway, we found out on Weds the 29th that Zacary had RSV which is very very verrrrry contagious and serious. Dr Rice told us that we caught it JUST in time to where he would not have to be hospitalized (thaaaaaaank goodness) and we had to give him breathing treatments every 4 hours until further notice! It was soooo awful and sad to see such a lil baby so sick. Especially when they can't tell you what is wrong :[:[ I was so so paranoid, did noooot sleep good at all bc of how paranoid I was, and had him sleep in our room in the pak n play right beside me and his breathing was awful! The breathing treatments worked wonders though and he sounded so much better so soon! He went thru phases of throwing up all his bottles too- and it was so so so tough to see him oh so sick :[ I would cry and feel so bad for him and just wish so much he wouldn't feel so bad anymore. I mean- he has reflux, he has RSV, he is throwing up bottles, what else? The poor poor baby! It makes my heart so so so sad for him. He is now very healthy thank goodness!!!!

We went to the Dr on Mon for a check up and he is soooo much better! We now only have to give him breathing treatments twice a day instead of every 4 hours woooot! He has a slight ear ache now which is common after RSV so we got some meds for that and it is helping too! We go back for another check up next Thurs the 13th too! I am so so sooooo glad he is so much better! He has slept in his crib in his room last night and tonight too and done great! I hope so so soooo much he doesn't get all the sicknesses in the world in his life. It crushes me so bad- nothing is worse than seeing a child so so so sick :[ It was nice to snuggle and relax at home since we couldn't go anywhere with Zacary (he was contagious for a week) and we stayed home all together and spent our NYE together too- it was so so fun- even with a sick lil baby :/

Eli caught the flu Sunday morning and woof- we learned he had the flu in a not so good way. He told me he didn't want anything for breakfast, and I was surprised to hear that b/c breakfast is his fave! I just figured he wasn't all that hungry yet and he was acting perfectly normal so I didn't think a thing of him being sick. Well then we all hopped in the car to get these awesome donuts at Quik Trip gas station and he saw a banana and chocolate milk and wanted it. So when we got home, we gave it to him. Then woof- the chocolate milk did not agree with the tummy of course and he puked it alllll up all over him. He cried and cried and it was oh sooooo sad. He layed down alll day, ate nothing but 2 crackers and drank some pedialyte (which he kept down) It killed me to have 2 sick babies. Noah was off all week though so it helped with 2 sick babies and Mommy and Daddy around. OH I am so glad they are so much better!!!! Noah and I both do not do good with puke either- so we had to work together on this one haha! I will do anything in the world for my hubby and kids tho- so thats all that matters to me! SO glad my babies are soooo much better now!! It makes me so so so happy! Then yeah MY TURN- I got a touch of the flu on Tuesday of this week. Noah came home from work early but up until then I snuggled in our bed with the boys and it was so fun! They layed on me and loved on me and made me feel so much better- we napped together too and Eli tried feeding me his cereal haha awwwww! I was feeling much better by the next day too- being sick sucks!

Today was an "exchange a couple gifts" day and we only had Wal-Mart to go to so I decided to take the boys and go. They both do so well and are so much fun! I usually try to errands like this when Zacary is taking a nap so he can be comfy and sleep while Eli and I do our errands and then go back home. It is always so much fun hanging out with my sweet boys. As a matter of fact we were in line to get an in-store credit and an elderly lady behind me was asking me how old the boys were and all and she said "raising my kids and being with them every day were some of the best days of my life." I completely agreed with her instantly- so so sooooo awesome and the best thing evvvvver <3 She is absolutely right and she made me smile so much b/c I know that exact feeling! Zacary woke up angry while in Wal-Mart as well and it was b/c he was hungry so I hurried and got out of the way and made him a bottle real quick. No stressing from me, no worries at all, he's a kid- he is gunna cry- and this will happen at times. You would have thought by the looks I got from people that no one had ever heard a baby cry before. People were starring and looking at me like I was crazy! I took no offence to this- b/c THEY are wrong and not me. Many people have small kids close in age, and BABIES DO CRY PEOPLE AND GET HUNGRY TOO so get over it. Ha. I sound like some hardass but really it's the truth. I was not worried a bit and doing the best I could do for my lil guy- sometimes people just erk me off with the looks they give off- woof! My sweet Zacary got happy real quick too and then was smiling and cooing to me awww :]:] Just love being a Mommy!!! And sweet Eli was helping me out and trying to give Zacary his binky when he was crying- how adorable! I have to sit Zacary in the back of the cart and Eli in the front b/c Eli is still too young and doesn't understand that you can't stand in the back of the cart ha! This Mama doesn't wunna have a heart attack about him falling and I could just see him doing a Buzz Lightyear move out of the cart soooo we don't allow it for now haha! Zacary usually is asleep when I run errands anyway so it works out and I can still see his sweet face too!!! :] Love being with my babies so much <3

You know what's funny also? When we were in line to check out and pay Eli said "Mama baba" and I said "buddys your baba is right beside you hun" (he calls his sippy a baba) and so he picks it up and says "Noooooooa" (he adds an a to the end of his "no" now haha atleast he can say his Daddy's name good and clear ha) and I said "what's the matter babe?" He points to a little girl sitting in the back of her Mom's cart that is drinking out of a McDonalds cup. I laughed and said "well hun that is her drink, she is okay" and he said "Mama nooooooooa" and I said "buddys you have your drink with you now and she has hers- it' okay, she can have a drink too" and he looked at me and smiled like he was thinking "oh ok, I understand now!" HAHAHA! Who would have ever thought!?!? That is so funny and the little girl's mom was dying laughing at him ha! Such a funny lil man!!!! :]

Tomorrow is a library day- yay! I love going to the library!!! I told you about the class we do before, and it's so fun and starts back up tomorrow woot woot!! Then of course Eli loves to play with the train table and see the big fish and check out books! I have been just using the single stroller and put Zacary in that with his seat and Eli is getting to the age where he wants to follow me and hold my hand without being in the stroller so we work it out that way! :] Zacary just smiles and has a good time at the library too- I have 2 of the best lil boys ever! :]

I will be posting a Christmas post soon- so be prepared haha!!! I am also going to attempt to take the boys' pics of 4 mo and 2 yr sometime soon too. I took some practice pics yesterday just to see how I could do. Let me know what you think and all you professional picture people out there haha- what are some good ideas to use for when I do pics? Like what good backgrounds can I place behind them in my house? Hmmmm.... lots of thinking on this ha!!
